I have consistently experienced poor service from Vox, particularly when it comes to support and outage management. Their support processes feel unnecessarily complicated and frustrating, often creating additional obstacles rather than helping customers resolve problems quickly. Simple issues become time-consuming exercises in navigating systems, repeating information, and waiting for responses. More concerning is the apparent lack of urgency when dealing with downtime. Service outages and connectivity problems seem to be treated as routine inconveniences rather than serious disruptions affecting customers who rely on these services daily. Downtime appears to drag on far longer than it should, with limited communication and insufficient urgency shown toward resolution. Reliable internet has become essential infrastructure, not a luxury service, and customers deserve support processes and outage responses that reflect this reality. Unfortunately, my experience has been that Vox consistently falls short in these areas.
Shopify may have some fun and cool services, but this is all cast in a shadow given how easily they help facilitate ***** for their Vendors. The ***** reporting function is just for show and does nothing and I ultimately believe that Shopify is not suitable to operate in the South African market since they care so little for consumers of their service.
From my interactions with them, the website looks normal enough, and everything appears to be functioning as it should, but they take your money, and then you do not hear from them at all.
