Prime insurance is a ****. They rejected our claim citing reasons below: Misrepresentation of material facts - inconsistent versions The key facts about the events leading to the loss were misrepresented. Your version of events contradicts witness statements and your statements made during the claim validation. We cannot verify the event details and believe the information provided is inaccurate or untruthful. Please refer to these sections of your policy terms and conditions: "How to Claim 1. What to do after an incident 1.2. You must ensure that when claiming, you provide honest, accurate and complete information to us about the circumstances leading to the loss. Exclusions 13. Acts of *****, Misrepresentation, Misdescription & Omission No cover is provided for any losses or damage if you (or anyone on your behalf) omit material information or submit a *****ulent, dishonest, misrepresented, or inflated claim. In such cases, we will reject the entire claim and may at our discretion: 13.1. Not refund any premiums paid; 13.2. Cancel the policy retroactively to the earliest of the reported incident dates or the actual incident date; 13.3. Investigate and/or institute legal proceedings; 13.4. Notify the South African Insurance Crime Bureau (“SAICB”) of the ***** and cancellation of cover and the reason ; 13.5. Notify the relevant credit bureaus." Please note: The reasons provided above may not be the only grounds for declining your claim. The Insurer reserves the right to rely on additional information at a later stage. Santam Structured Insurance Limited is the insurer of your policy, and Primary Asset Administrative Services acts as the intermediary... They do not give reasons why they rejected the claim. They never say what inconsistent statements. The facts were straight, did not hide anything though their investigator was cross examining us all days till rejection. Fortunately I'm in the law field will hold them to account. Just imagine what they are doing to ordinary citizens. They were dying to reject the claim, would tell on calls, the delays and everything, that sweet voice from sales people was no where to be found, now they were ruthless believe me. If I am bluffing they can sue me for damaging their brand.
Y'all should be careful when signing up for prime Meridian. We have been waiting for finalisation of a straight forward claim for weeks now. When you contact them, initially it's 15 days within which to finalise claim, when they are running out of those days, claim has been submitted to Santam our underwriters for final decision. We have been waiting for final decision for days now. On the other hand they refused for curtesy car sign up. Imagine having to endure all the stress on a simple claim where unlicensed driver and vehicle is involved, further to that the driver being ******* in the country, negligence is pure, witnesses available! They are real ****mer of an insurance with poor management. Those of you utilising it, be careful. I have been since issued with a claim number CL101815237 and perhaps have spent hundreds of rand following up, they do not even contact you. Nonsense of insurance with their Santam. They always look for a reason not to assist you when in need. Imagine having to go the litigious route in order to be covered by your OWN INSURER. I bet you'd swear their consultant knows nothing about the matter. Always wants their managers who are unavailable (though it's a lie) to assist.
I received a call from this company saying they got my details from NCR, as I inquired how, the lady terminated the call. Few minutes later I received a message that I gave them consent to pull my credit record. This company is *****.
Would like to express my dissatisfaction with the poorest of the poor service I have been receiving from LGR Attorneys. Their client handed me over without having defaulted in arranged payment, provided LGR with proof thereof but they keep harassing me. When I forward proof to one consultant, she will ignore only for another one to start from the beginning. They are not doing their job ethically.
