This business shows complete disregard for customers and basic consumer rights. They are quick to take orders and payment, but once the money is received, they go completely silent. After 6 days, there has been absolutely no response to multiple emails. Messages sent to the only WhatsApp number provided are not even read, which strongly suggests deliberate avoidance. There is no communication, no updates, and no accountability whatsoever. This conduct is in direct violation of the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA), including but not limited to: Section 19 – Failure to deliver goods within the agreed or reasonable time Section 22 – Failure to provide clear, transparent, and accessible communication Section 54 – Failure to provide services with reasonable care, skill, and diligence It is deeply ironic and unacceptable that a company trading in religious items operates with such blatant disregard for ethical standards. Order #10793 remains undelivered. I am demanding a full refund. This matter must be resolved within 24 hours of this complaint being posted. If there is no resolution within this timeframe, I will immediately escalate the matter to the National Consumer Commission and pursue all remedies available to me under the CPA. Given the volume of similar complaints visible on Facebook and other platforms, this behaviour appears to be systemic. I strongly warn consumers to avoid this business entirely.
I am extremely disappointed with the way Netstar continues to handle my complaint regarding being misled into subscribing to a value-add service I never requested. As previously stated, the consultant ******* me into enrolling by steering the conversation in such a scripted manner that I had no fair opportunity to decline. Before even asking for permission to proceed, he pushed me to read out the PIN sent via SMS — effectively enrolling me without clear consent. After raising my concern, Netstar sent me the voice recording. It is obvious that the consultant’s script leaves the customer no chance to respond or object. A line manager even called me and openly acknowledged the same — confirming he could hear that I had **no opportunity** to stop the process and that he would escalate this to the script manager. Yet, despite this acknowledgment, the written response I received today claims they are still “sticking to their story.” This inconsistency is unacceptable and reflects extremely poor aftercare and accountability. I demand a full refund and immediate cancellation of this forced subscription. Netstar needs to address these ********* sales tactics urgently.
I am lodging this complaint due to the completely misleading and incorrect information provided to me by a Vodacom customer service agent, which resulted in me being placed on an unnecessary R85 package. I was told by the agent that my contract could not be cancelled without losing my cellphone number and that the only way to retain it was to accept the R85 package. Based on this advice, I proceeded. Over the weekend, I visited a Vodashop to transfer the number into my son’s name and was informed that the information given by your agent was entirely incorrect. I was told that the number could have been moved to a pay-as-you-go option without any risk of losing it. This is a direct contradiction to what your agent claimed. Vodacom’s misinformation led me into accepting a contract I would never have taken had the correct information been provided. This is unacceptable, misleading, and shows a serious lack of consistency within your customer service channels. I am requesting the following: Immediate cancellation of the R85 contract/package Conversion of the number to a pay-as-you-go option with no fees, penalties, or delays Written confirmation once the cancellation is completed I expect Vodacom to take accountability for the inconvenience, frustration, and unnecessary costs caused by your staff’s incorrect guidance. I trust this matter will be handled urgently and professionally.
Not happy at all. I was so excited about the product i ordered online. Yet what a surprise when it arrived. Not same at all. When i did research on the product received, you can buy it from Temu at R75 yet i pad R499 for this. No contact number on any site. Supplying **** products. Adverts show bronzing effect cover cream, then some shinny white cream. I submitted a request via the website "Contact us" for a refund but no communication at all.
