My daughter was a teacher at this school. Before she got sick she was so scared to contract Covid because of the school's protocols ie, parents and teachers were not told of positive cases among parents and children. When I phoned Dimitri today to tell him my daughter is on oxygen in hospital and really struggling, his words were "SO?". No sympathy and he put down the phone in my ear when I questioned his safety protocols at the school. Shocking!!!! Hope he never has to hear a child of his say "am I going to die?"
Just a huge shout-out to the staff at Heilbron ABSA. I was locked out of my busines banking. They went the extra mile to help me and spent almost 2 hours to resolve the issue. Thank you Tsidi and Latoya
On the 24 March I complained about my insurance claim which is pending from 12 Jan 2021. Due to loadshedding my electric fence and cables were stolen. Guess what....still nothing. I assume Absa is drafting reasons why they cannot pay out for my claim. We still have no electric fence plus we have been burglarized in the mean time. So I have lodged another claim. I am desparate and the people living on the property have to chase away criminals almost every night. Please have some empathy Absa. We really do not want to be robbed blind and do everything on our power to protect our property. I paid a security company over R6000 to look after the property. Cant afford it any longer. Just hope Absa replies so, especially Zeenath. Please help me Absa!!
I submitted a claim because my electric fence was stolen a month ago. I have had no response from Absa. They have just broken into my house. Without the electric fence I am so vulnerable. Absa does not bother to come back to me. I am paying insurance to a heartless and uncaring insurance company. I am desparate. Have sent three emails without a response. I do not have a claim number as no one responded since I submitted my claim on 1 March.
The poorest custom care and support I have ever experienced. I banked a week in 2020 and while I thought it was banked later found out it was not banked so I lost a week (The one week costs me over R12000 a year). So, it is R12 000 lost due to my error (I think). Thus in 2020 (11 December) I asked Bianca to check the system to see if I had indeed banked it. I was afraid I would lose another week. Nobody helped me until 2021 (January) when I was informed it was too late to bank the week. I tried from December to get help. I tried to get help from Nicolas today but he was not particularly helpful. I must pay an extra R700 to get tokens because I have not banked (you need to do so 8 weeks before the time....um but I called in December for help). So that is R700 on top of the R12 000 per year for a 7 day vacation). I did ask for help in December! This company takes your money but is so unhelpful that dealing with them leaves me in a state of despair. NOTE: I did attend an orientation for the LPA system, in spite of this I must have bungled up. But I did ask for help!!! If you want to feel inadequate- join LPA.
Just a shout out to the awesome service by Monitor net in Mnandi. Mr. Gerber, and Mr. Rossouw your team did a fine job looking after my vacant property. The prompt response of your team, Officers Michael and David, led to the arrest of a man who is one of a group who have vandalized my property and caused thousand of Rands of damage. These officers went the extra mile and waited hours for the police to eventually arrive and to take custody of the man. Monitor Net thank you for a job well done. Monitor Net even got the case number for me.
African Associates and Gerhard, security specialist are absolutely professional and take the clients interests to heart. I have a property that was being vandalised and we had no way of stopping thefts taking place. The same day I contacted African Associates a security expert was sent to the property to do a risk assessment. I was called back an hour later to make recommendations to secure my property. By 18h00 monitored camera's were installed. This is a company who ensures one's peace of mind at reasonable rates. Highly recommended.
This is my second complaint and still no service. After my first insurance claim, cables stolen at my plot left us without power and water on 11th we still have had NO feedback. Daphne kindly responded after my first complaint on Hello Peter but since then nothing. Because we have no power the criminals break in every night and steal more cable. Last night during loadshedding they stole our Eskom cable. The Eskom cable is live and sparking. Will Absa respond when someone on the property is injuried or dies. Shocking service!!! They have still not responded to the service provider to give them the go-ahead to repair the power cables. I do not know who to turn to anymore. Absa is heartless!
So disappointed. I am insured with ABSA. My power cables were stolen, leaving me with no power, no lights and no water as we use a borehole. This is the 3rd day since I reported the theft and I still have no feedback from Absa after numerous calls and emails. I am made to feel like the criminal. The police were called while the cables were being removed but they never arrived. We in a high crime area and are constantly afraid. Even more so without any power. Cell phones need to be charged at the neighbour to be able to make calls in case of emergency. I have had previous claims resulting from lockdown and unemployment of our local community. I understand these claims count against me but what do I do? I am helpless and despondent due to the high crime rate in our area which is exacerbated by Absa's attitude to me. Hopefully I will get an answer before the next theft takes place.
