I bought a fridge and separate freezer. Whiting the warranty the display on the fridge stopped working. Unfortunately I delayed a bit to long before registering a warranty claim. I contacted LG 5 days after the 2 year warranty. That is if you calculate it from date of purchase. We purchased online. The fridge was only delivered later. LG rejected my warranty claim. I spent R24k on a fridge and a freezer. As my reward LG would not extend me any grace. Should the warranty not start the day I accepted ownership of the fridge? Do you want to put your trust in a company that is so petty. That will go above and beyond not to honor their warranty
At the end op March 2023 we accepted a proposal supp**** by Anton Koekemoer from Open Circle Solutions to add new services to our existing website and social media pages. This proposal was shaped and formed after a lot of meetings and deliberation over 6 months. We desperately needed to add new services to our website. The quote was little short of R25k. We payed them 50% deposit. After 3 months it seemed that nothing was happening on our account. Only after inquiring on their progress, Anton Koekemoer from Open Circle Solutions informed me that they are done with the SEO and will invoice us for the outstanding 50% because the scope of the work was completed. This was a total shock there wasn't even one new service added to any of our marketing channels as set out in the proposal. I asked Anton Koekemoer from Open Circle Solutions to go thru the scope of work with me, and to show me how the work was done and also for me to understand how the new setup worked. Anton Koekemoer the Managing Director of Open Circle Solutions refused. He insisted that I had to pay the outstanding 50% of the invoice before he will show me that the work was completed. I then asked Anton Koekemoer where the new services was added to our website. He rep**** that it was not included in the proposal and he will quote me on adding these services separately. In reply I sent him his email where he said a to new page and update the contact us page was included in the proposal. Anton Koekemoer then agreed on a meeting with his teem. In this meeting he commissioned David Schlebusch from Open Circle Solutions to add these pages. On the 10th of June 2023 I sent a mail to Anton Koekemoer and his teem to give them notice of non performance. They still did not complete the entire scope of work and I will therefore cancel the agreement and requite a refund for the deposit, if they do not finish the job ASAP. This is where the true nature of the Open Circle Solutions management started to manifest. Ruan Strydom from Open Circle Solutions contacted me via email. I laid out my entire grievance to him in hope that he will understand and try to rectify the problem. No! he attacked me and issued a invoice of an additional R8K this was apparently for additional work done(new services page and update of the contact us page). Ruan Strydom from Open Circle Solutions also supp**** me with *****ulent proof that some of the scope of the work was done. It did not even represent half of the scope of work. When I showed him that he was in the wrong with written proof he supp****, He just rep**** that he will not reason with me because I have "a victim mentality". In addition to the insults, *****ulent proof and refusing to go thru the scope of work so that I can show them that the work wasn't completed. Ruan Strydom from Open Circle Solutions gave me a bogus invoice to intimidate me and the most horrible of all, Ruan Strydom and teem from Open Circle Solutions removed 14 pages from our website on the 11the of June 2023 in retaliation. Don't make the same mistake I did by trusting Open Circle Solutions.
Santam turned my frown upside down. Thank you Santam for re-investigate my claim and having my fridge repaired. It is just a pity that I had the bad experience with the claim
Horrible experience. Turns out that due to the fact that our Caravan fridge was replaced after failure it is not covered by Santam for lightning damage. Took them 2 weeks to find a excuse not to pay. I was a customer for may years. Easy to take my R2k a month but unwilling to pay for a fridge repair. I thought you will get peace of mind from a Santam, Think again rather go for a more fordable competetor
What a disappointment. I bought a Chevrolet Utility from Niel at Mccarthy Chevrolet Menlyn. On receipt the vehicle was dented and scratched for which I returned it, I also installed a tracker unit they did not know off.<br> With the tracker I caught them speeding 3 separate times, one time 89km in a 60km zone in 100m stretch between traffic lights with a brand new vehicle. They refused to replace the vehicle and this is now almost a year later. I have returned for the first service and to fix scratches and some technical faults they kept the vehicle for 20 days after which I received it back with scratches on the gear nob, dash board, instrument panel and the drivers door. The radio does not work and the fan-belts are screeching. This is now a week since Niel van Staden promised me that every thing would be sorted out and After numerous calls even to his manager Bart Hetsema with no result. I am still driving a scratched car with no radio. I reported it to GM with no joy.<br> Spare you self heartache do not support them!
