Worst dining experience I have ever had. We Chose Jakes to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday because of its great reviews and as child it was her great grandfather's favourite restaurant, so for her it was also very nostalgic and close to her heart. We booked a table for 20 pax for yesterday evening the 13 March 2025 on arrival we asked if we could join the tables and create an L shape so that we could all be together, it took about 15min of discussion with the waiter to convince her what was required. took our drinks menu after about 10 min (which is fine) but then the drinks took forever to arrive at the table i personally had to reorder my beverage twice. The food order from the time we ordered until it arrived at our table took what seemed to be forever it was over an hour and that's being conservative. We brought a beautiful cake with for my daughter we were never informed up until payment that they would charge us R15 per slice (cake fee) on top of our almost R7000 rand bill. the waitresses could have informed us prior but instead they brought us a cake knife, side plates and s****s. The food was also nothing to rave about when everyone eventually got their food everyone was starving that no one bothered to complain. To be honest it was very disappointed with whole experience. Jakes Do better!
Twice now I have been assisted successfully by ABSA through the help of this platform, I would.like to thank everyone involved to resolve my issues.
Recently twice hello Peter provided me with a platform to sort out 2 issues I had with Absa bank , both times the issues were resolved successfully, I'd it wasn't for this platform I wouldn't of had the opportunity to resolve my problems. Thank you and keep up the wonderful work.
ABSA strikes again ..... I made arrangements on my vehicle finance for a reduction in my monthly premium " restructuring" for a period of time all went well last month made a manual payment last month and this month as agreed. I have cancelled the debit order which was agreed to by ABSA and pay via EFT /transfer in to my vehicle account, that been said I open up my banking app and low and behold they tried to put a debit order through again, what the actual hell Absa I call your call centre they lady I spoke with was totally useless could give me zero answers only I can escalate it and you must wait for them to call you, tomorrow when there is money that is paid into my account that returned debit order will run and I will struggle to get my money back . Also who pays or the returned debit order and who will pay for the reversal if said debit order goes off ....ME through your bank's incompetence . I'm already in financial distress and struggling to keep my head above water and you guys are just making it worse or my other restructured loans went off no probs why why why is there always a hitch
I was charged a journal debit of R500 for an account that I never opened apprently I have 2 cheque account , the one is my everyday account the other is unknown to me I never opened it I have been into the bank on various occasions to complain they tell me there is nothing they can do I logged a complaint with Absa fraud division no answer ....I have spoken with the debt collectors and explained the situation but it's like speaking to a brick wall ....how am I been charged for an account I didn't apply for and no one including the the bank can help! Absa is this how you conduct business?
I appllied on the 17 April and everything went through with out a hitch , was contacted by the sales dept and had to reapply after submitting it online (not a train smash ) was very impressed by their speedy service ans helpfulness, was agin contacted by a lady from thier vetting dept who requested that i submitt tge normal documents which i did , on the afternoom of the 18th i recived an email from Vodacom saying my appointment was confirmed for the 19 April 2019, they arrived on time as they said they would but unfortunately the house rules of the complex i stay in forbids work on a public holiday , we rescheduled with out a hitch. So today the 23 April 2019 i take time off work for the instalation and the contractors arrive and do the installation, the contractor says it will take 40 min to configure all done they leave 3 hrs later i call the fiber call center the young lady says she cant find any active orders says she wil call me back which she did and informs me all the orders have been cancelled and the salea dept said it was cancelled due to bad customer profile my queations are as follows. 1. Why was i never informed that my application wasnt successful i was in email contact with miss zungu on the 18th 2. Why was i informed that my device would be installed ? 3. Who now pays for this instalation. 4. Is this gow vodacom cunducts business with new potential customers ? I am very angry and demand answers , i left telkom because of bad service it seems its a norm these days do i need too look for another capable ISP one that actually with potential customer , in fact because you have installed the router and infrastructure i therefore assume that i am now a customer of Vodacom
