Lindiwe simplified my application in under 10 minutes and also recommended a location closer to my workplace. I’m very happy with her service.
I’m genuinely disappointed in the way Discovery has handled my third-party claim. To start, their client openly admitted fault in the police report, clearly stating that he ran a red robot (traffic light). Despite this, I was later told by Discovery’s consultant, Nonhlanhla Sinthumule, that I was somehow 40% liable for the collision. This decision resulted in a negative claim outcome for me even though the facts clearly show that their client broke the law. What makes matters worse is that Nonhlanhla only responded after multiple follow-ups. When she finally did, she provided no real explanation or supporting evidence, yet expected me to accept their decision and move on all while my car remains unrepaired. Meanwhile, the driver who caused the accident appears to have been taken care of, and I’m left to deal with the consequences. How is this fair? Is this really how Discovery treats people who are not at fault? If this is standard practice defending clients who break the law while penalising others then it’s deeply troubling. I expected more from a company like Discovery.
