I had to organize a re-debit on my account. I was assisted by Michelle Ndlovu regarding my policy and the service was excellent. She is a true asset for Alllife. Well done, Keep it up.
On the 11th of December I went to Mombela (Nelspruit) with my son Greg to visit my sister and brother in law you look at a bakkie that we were interested in purchasing. We went down in his car. About 150 kilometers from our destination the car engine temp seemed to drop. We stopped and when my son opened the bonnet the engine was covered in oil. We were about 5km from a garage and drove to it and we bought a 5 litre oil. We topped up the oil. We could not determine where the oil was coming from. We drove 20 minutes, stopped and topped the oil up. This carried on until we reached my sister's house in Mombela at about 8 pm that night. I phoned a friend and he suggested I phone Andrew who I had previously done my turbo on my Ford F250 and see if he knew who could help. In the morning I phoned Andrew and he said bring the car to him. We took the car to the garage and it turned out that the timing chain cover was leaking. Andrew said he would get his guys to fix it. We went with my brother to look at the bakkie. Man, they specialize in rebuilding turbos and the like and his guy are so knowledgeable. They not only replaced all the *****s, but also straightened the cover so that it sealed perfectly. The brakes and engine bay were covered in oil so they removed the wheels, took out the pads, burnt off the oil and refitted them. They cleaned the entire engine and engine compartment. The car ran and no leak was visible. They took the car for a test run and the mechanic came back and reported that the crank case oil seal was also leaking. It was already 12h30. I just froze. What now? I asked Andrew what he could do to help me now. His daughter found a crank case seal in white river 35km away, fetched it and his guys fitted it. The team are all very good mechanics and the are lead by Andrew a mechanical engineer who is a whiz kid. These are the real deal guys, the real pro's. Its March and the car is stilling running perfectly. If you have a turbo problem, they are definitely worth sending your turbo to to be fixed. I did and the cost of Door to door collection and delivery was far cheaper than the quotes I got in Johannesburg and the turbo looked brand new. It also came with a test certificate showing you the exact performance of your turbo.
I have a property on Jan Smuts Avenue and had been trying to sell for nearly 4 years. During this time I had the property on sale with a number of agents and the best offer I received, which incidentally I turned down at the time, was the same amount I realised on auction. Except the monies were free of any agents commission or transfer fees and any VAT payable is payable by the Purchaser. When added to the price I received, this offer was almost a bar more in money in my pocket. I approached the 2 major property auction houses in Johannesburg and met agents for both and I decided to go with Daniel Wachenheimer from Auction Inc. Turns out, Daniel is a dealmaker extraordinaire. The marketing campaign was nationwide with the buyer coming in from Cape Town. In the weeks before the auction the area around the lodge was saturated in advertising which worked. After the sale was completed Daniel organised everything including the conveyancer and bridging finance. It was an absolute pleasure to have Daniel selling our property. Well done and keep it up.
