I am really disappointed and disgusted by the service that I've received from King Price. I submitted a claim in July 2025 for a leak in my bathroom. The contractors that were sent out clearly had no clue how to do a proper leak detection. Even when I pointed out where I suspected the leaks were, they disregarded it completely. In the end, they only focused on one of the walls that I pointed out and surprise surprise, there were actually two leaks in that wall. The job that was done was not done well at all. These contractors left my bathroom in a state, the shower screen is still not fitted to this day. A few months later I woke up to a flooded bedroom. This was because of the leak in the second wall that I had pointed out with the initial claim, which they ignored. I was then forced to do a second claim for something that had been raised right at the beginning. It's now seven months later and this is still ongoing. With my last follow up, I was told that another assessor needs to come out for the resultant damages and I haven't heard anything from king price since then.
My partner and I walked into the canal walk branch in search of an engagement ring and we were greeted by this lovely, warm person named Dolly. What an amazing experience. The jewellery is absolutely stunning and the quality of service was just the cherry on top. Dolly really made our moment so much more special. We left the store with a beautiful ring and an experience that we will remember and cherish forever.
My personal banking account was made inactive due to outstanding FICA documents. No one had contacted me to advise me of the outstanding documents before making my account unusable. Only once I contacted FNB myself did I learn that there were documents outstanding, which I sent the very next day. This was almost a week ago. I still am not able to access my funds. This needs to be resolved ASAP.
