I am extremely dissatisfied with Old Mutual due to the ******** initiation of a policy under my name without my consent. This policy has unknown beneficiaries and has been deducted directly from my payslip without any prior authorization. Despite repeated attempts to seek clarification and resolution, the response from Old Mutual has been unacceptably slow, showing a complete lack of urgency or regard for the impact this has had on me. It is unacceptable that a financial institution of this stature would implement a policy and debit funds from an employee’s salary without proper consent or communication. I urge Old Mutual to investigate this matter immediately, refund any unauthorized deductions, and improve their communication and response times to avoid causing such stress to clients in the future.
I am insured for an Acer laptop with an Intel i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce graphics card, but my insurer is now only offering to replace it with a laptop that has an i5 processor and no dedicated graphics card. A far cheaper and insufficient laptop for my needs. The claim has also taken far too long to resolve, and communication from the insurer has been very slow and unhelpful, trying everything to delay the claim, although they specified it with the specific specifications.
