I am lodging a serious complaint against Sebokeng SAPS for negligence and unacceptable conduct. Our home was broken into — a window was smashed, and money, house keys, and a cellphone were ******. We had to call twice before police finally responded that night. The following day, when we attempted to follow up, our calls were repeatedly hung up on, and no officers have returned to assist us. This is a complete failure of duty. We are left feeling unsafe and abandoned, with no support or communication from SAPS. I am demanding immediate action on this matter. There must be accountability for the officers involved, a proper investigation into this case, and clear consequences for the lack of service we have experienced. This level of negligence cannot be ignored.
I lodged a claim with Old Mutual almost three weeks ago. The two other beneficiaries received their payouts within three days, yet I am still waiting for mine. I have been told repeatedly that they are “verifying” my account number. However, every time I call for an update, I am transferred from one department to another or given contact numbers that are not relevant to my claim. This results in me being passed around without any real assistance. I have spent hours on calls due to constant transfers, and still no one takes ownership of the matter or provides a clear explanation. The lack of coordination and accountability is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I am simply requesting that my claim be finalised without further delays and that someone competent handles this matter properly. Posting this on here because I have exhausted all other attempts to resolve it directly.
