I logged a complaint about a transaction on Sunday, 12 October. My account was debited twice with an amount of R397.90 at 13h39 and a second debit at 13h40. Until today, i haven't received any feedback from McDonald's Saveways, Emalahleni. They must credit my account with the R397.90. The money is still not in my account.
I sent my son with my card at McDonald's Saveways yesterday, 12 October 2025. The lady at driveway insisted that the transaction didn't go through. My son had to swipe again.The transaction went through twice. I showed them my app but the are telling me about statements and a long process, but I need the money now . My brother in law deposited R4900 at the ATM 🏧. The transaction was not processed. He went inside the branch and opened a case. They told him the ATM is faulty, but they will process it today. I called the branch at 10h44, and I spoke to Kate explaining to her that I need the money urgently because i am at the doctor and i don't have cash. She told me they were trying to fix the ATM problem, and she would call me back . At 14h41, i was still waiting as I didn't have cash to pay. She was rude telling me that she had already told me about the ATM problem. I don't understand if Absa's problem is my problem now. Their service is pathetic. They deposited money because I needed It urgently.It looks like Absa doesn't care. I need the money before 16h30 because they are closing 😪 and I must get medication before pharmacies closes too.
