Western Insurance is giving me a problem to claim the 30 % of the accident damages which was caused by their insured which was also part of the accident.I have been sending Emails and even calling but no one is giving me a feedback or response since the 09th of January and the other party settled their 70% of the damages caused by their insured client since they were jointly liable for the accident that happened on the 29th of June 2025.
"As per our client he was bumped from behind. Can you please provide me with a sketch of how the accident occurred, the one on the accident report does not indicate how and the accident occurred. I need to see point of imagine and my clients vehicle." This is the message I received today after being told to wait for 60 days of which I did.So the people from quest claims are telling me that there is nothing wrong with what their client did by doing a U-turn when there is an oncoming traffic which led to the collision even though the CCTV footage shows that their client was wrong and was hit on the side and not at the back.Quest claims is doing everything in its power to try and protect their wrong client so that they don't end up compensating for the loss of my car.
I am writing to inform you that I am having difficulty obtaining a quotation for the damages to my vehicle (third party) involved in the incident with your insured on 29 June 2025. The vehicle is currently not operational and cannot be moved to a panel beater for assessment due to the high costs of towing, which I am unable to afford. I kindly request your assistance in arranging for an assessment or providing guidance on how to proceed with the claim. Please let me know the next steps and if there's any additional information required from my end. Is there any possibility that a person handling the case can be changed because I sent some of the required documents required and the person I sent the documents to did not acknowledge whether they received the documents or not. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
How long does it take to open a 2nd leg because I am now waiting for alsnost 2 weeks with no communication from claims administrators.
It is almost a month since I made an insurance claim and the people of the company don't seem to communicate with me and when I try to call them it takes me straight to voicemail and no reach .
