Western Insurance is giving me a problem to claim the 30 % of the accident damages which was caused by their insured which was also part of the accident.I have been sending Emails and even calling but no one is giving me a feedback or response since the 09th of January and the other party settled their 70% of the damages caused by their insured client since they were jointly liable for the accident that happened on the 29th of June 2025.

Paying my premiums every month for years now and when you want to claim, they look for technical issues, just to reject your claim. Typical insurance company attitude

Poor service,I had break down and my car was in the garage. They said because my car is packed at the garage it needs dolly wheels to tow it but they don't cover it must pay from my pocket of which they did not disclose in their policy. I am paying car hire also but they refused to pay for it as per agreement they said they only pay if I am involved in an accident not when my car is stuck also not disclosed in their contract. Very disappointed,this insurance is a ****

I am insured for my business laptop which is specified on my policy. I pay a premium for this. Unfortunately my locked MV was accessed via remote jam locking and my laptop ****** out by LOCKED boot. There is video footage of the incident however the only people allowed to view this footage according to the POPI Act are SAPS and detectives with a summons. My Insurer has denied my claim due to the fact they cant view the footage. Apparently POPI Act does not apply to Western National. No negligence on my part 30 days and the new excuse is that it was not in a locked garage. My apologies I will have to speak to the shopping center about this........seriously ? Why do we have insurance? My business is reliant on my laptop !!!!! I have had to purchase a new laptop our of my own pocket. I do hope they refund me for the missed sales that I was out of commission due to a crime !!! Shocking customer service.

I want to express my utmost disappointment in the service I have received from Western National and their client's broker GVS Brokers. My complaint is regarding my third party claim after their client drove into the back of my Bakkie while I was stopping at a stop sign. First of all the broker of GVS Brokers called me and said I should not talk to the client anymore because then the insurance will not help me. He continuesly tried to convince me to claim from my insurance because it will not take that long. He also told me that according to new legislation there is a possibility that his client can not be held accountable for the collision, so it is better to claim from my insurance. From Western National the service was slow. I had to submit a bunch of documents, photos, letter from my insurance and quotes. I submitted all very quick. Then I had to call the whole time to get feedback. They want to settle with underpay the quote. My biggest problem is that they don't care about your situation. My Bakkie is MY ONLY FORM OF TRANSPORTATION! The quote I submitted included car rental because I need a vehicle when my Bakkie will be repaired. I explained my crisis to Western National, but all they said it is not in their policy to cover car rental and also the broker of GVS Brokers just said it is not in the policy they don't supply car rental. So they don't care that I don't have any other means of transport to go to work and also to take my 2 boys to school and pick them up in the afternoon. According to their policy it is my problem to get me to work and my boys to school and back! So their client is sorted already and I am still fighting for almost 3 months to get helped! He drove into me but now I am lesser off than the client! They don't care about someone like me that Wil be sitting without transport, they just want to settle with the least amount to quiet you down and I have to cope because it is policy! Western National is there to make money out of people and hide behind policies. Rating is 1 star because I can't give zero! Stay away!

7 month earlier Western national client drove i to my wife Ranger. Its been 7 months later and they never called us , emailed us or talk to us other then a lady working on a other company. They just lie day after day and ignore us totally from day one. These Western national workers need to be delt with very harsh and in peronal manner so thye can feel our pain. Thye are totally useless and good for nothing *******s.
