I ordered an item that cost me R328. Takealot CANCELLED the item and credited me only R78. They are not responding to ANY communication regarding this issue.
Even though the slip states that they won't accept any returns on goods correctly supplied, they did exchange a clamp for which I gave the incorrect measurements. No questions asked, they simply swapped the clamp for the correct one! Thank you!
<p>My account was fully paid on 20 August and confirmed to be closed on 29 August by the Customer Services Administrator Albert Sithole.</p> <p>Emails and sms's are still coming through urging me to pay money I don't owe. After phoning on 8 December I was assured again that I will no longer receive these sms's and emails as it is a fault on their side - my account is closed and I don't owe anything.</p> <p>After still receiving emails and sms's I sent emails ********** ********** which came back as undeliverable: "Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain edcon.co.za by za-smtp-inbound-2.mimecast.co.za. [41.74.193.210].</p> <p> </p> <p>PLEASE do something about it so that I do not receive these incorrect emails and sms's anymore. My account is paid up and closed.</p>
<p>I have sent Discovery a QUERY regarding information on my tax certificate and they keep on sending me the standard email containing my tax certificate. If I wanted a tax certificate, I would have requested on the website that it be sent to me - that is why they have this nifty tool on the website, so that they don't have to deal with so many queries. So that they can simply spend more time on real queries. If the person receiving the emails did a little bit more than scan the email, there would be less emails for them to answer in the long run.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>My problem is the following: I pay the medical aid but my husband is listed as the main member as my employer does not allow me to be a main member on any other medical aid than BestMed. Unfortunately we have chosen to stay with Discovery as I have had less problems with them - generally, until now. My problem is that they are putting my husband's name on the tax certificate and then SARS audits me every year and I wait for months to get paid. ALL I want from Discovery is to confirm that they can change it on their system that he remains the main member, but my name appears on the Tax Certificate - the money comes off my account and that is the reason why I have to claim it back from SARS.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is not a difficult request and would not have become a problem if the people who read the emails actually READ the emails and not just scan for keywords. They will have WAY less queries and WAY less emails to handle.</p>
