Status inquiry
I’m writing to lodge a complaint regarding poor service from Replay. I have an active order (No: 158600), and I’m concerned about the lack of communication. Despite reaching out via email and WhatsApp, I have not received any response from their team or even the manager. It’s now Monday, and I expected a more professional level of service. The delays and lack of feedback are frustrating, especially with no update on my delivery. I kindly request that this matter be addressed urgently and that Replay improves their communication and service.

: Review #7: 12 months later and PayJoy STILL hasn't cleared my name Review:
I am posting my 7th review because PayJoy has failed to resolve my ITC update for over a year. I returned the device in 2025, yet my credit reports from TransUnion and Experian still show the account as active. I recently received another "escalation" email (***) blaming TransUnion for the delay. This is unacceptable. PayJoy has a legal obligation to report accurate data. I am tired of excuses and empty apologies. If it concerns anyone reading my review please advise me on what to do

Wrongfully blacklisted
Dear Hello Peter team and PayJoy SA, I am writing to formally complain about PayJoy SA (Pty) Ltd for a persistent and incorrect adverse listing on my credit record. This is causing significant financial distress and has led to my loan applications being denied. My account (ID number: ***) was officially cancelled and had a zero balance as of October 21, 2025, as confirmed by a letter from PayJoy SA, signed by Palesa Mavundla (attached as proof). Despite this clear confirmation, my ID is still being flagged on credit bureaus as owing PayJoy. I have attempted to resolve this directly, but the issue remains unresolved. This failure to update my credit status is unacceptable and a violation of my consumer rights. I demand immediate written confirmation from PayJoy that: The adverse information has been removed from all credit bureaus. No further negative information will be submitted. Failure to resolve this matter within 48 hours will result in me escalating my complaint to the National Credit Regulator (NCR) and the Credit Ombud, and I will seek legal counsel for damages incurred due to this negligence. Contact: +27 (62) *** Sincerely, Patience Ntombifuthi Dlamini

Wrongly blacklisted recovery
I am writing this public review as a final attempt to resolve a persistent issue with PayJoy. For months, I have been requesting the closure of my contract and the removal of a wrongful blacklisting entry. My device was returned within 12 days of purchase, yet the associated loan obligation remains open on my credit profile, contrary to the PayJoy Customer Charter. While a resolution is reportedly underway for a linked account (my mother’s), my own account remains unresolved. This is my sixth review and attempt to resolve this matter. I request the following immediate actions: Issuance of my official clearance letter. Immediate removal of all negative listings from my credit bureau profile. Written confirmation that the matter is fully cleared on your internal systems. I urge PayJoy's escalation team to use my ID/Account number provided in the review submission to locate my file and contact me via the HelloPeter platform to confirm resolution. Failure to resolve this within 5 business days will result in me escalating the matter to the National Consumer Commission.

Review update
I have received a service update from PayJoy, but my issue is still pending resolution. They informed me that my mom's cancellation process and the clearing of the blacklisting from their system will take between 7 to 20 days. Therefore, I am still waiting for the full service to be completed. I also have not yet received my clearance letter for the collected device. I cannot give a final rating or full recommendation until everything is completely resolved and the blacklisting is confirmed as cleared. I am waiting for their final response and the necessary documentation. I will update this review again once the issue is fully sorted out."
