On the 28th I requested for an amount of R122 and it was charged as a pre authorization fee on my bank account, on the 1st it increased and deducted R132 however the pending R122 pre authorization fee was not released. I am told that I should contact my bank and that Uber cannot help me whereas I requested with them and they put the pre authorization on my account. Very unprofessional and lack the care which I have believed to be part of Ubers values. Such bad client service.
We recently visited The Copper Club Tyger Waterfront as a group of 10, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. While the food and setting were divine, the service fell far short of expectations. Our waiter (Allan Njolomole) was noticeably rude and seemed annoyed throughout the evening. When we politely asked for a group photo to capture the moment after paying our bill, his response was, “I’m too busy,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional. For a venue that prides itself on hospitality, this was a let-down. A simple gesture of courtesy would have made a big difference. Sadly, this experience overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable outing.
