I bought a brand-new HAVAL H6 expecting quality and reliability. Unfortunately, the vehicle has been a let-down. From early on there were dents and scratches from normal use, a scratch already present at collection, loose rear door handles, an unrefined ride, and random glitches with basic functions (boot, locking car, steering-wheel controls...). The biggest issue is the infotainment and radio system — it frequently freezes, disconnects, and cannot hold a KFM signal in normal coverage areas. Apple CarPlay/Google Maps freezing while driving is a serious safety concern. Multiple inspections and updates have not fixed this. The service from Rola GWM Stellenbosch has been equally disappointing. I dealt with several staff changes, poor communication, missed follow-ups, and unresolved issues despite raising them early. Dent-and-scratch insurance proved ineffective, with damage deemed “not within spec.” After months of trying to resolve this, I cannot recommend the HAVAL H6 or Rola GWM Stellenbosch to anyone who values quality vehicles and proper after-sales support.
