The worst experience ever! I strongly advise against dealing with this branch, based on my recent experience. In 2024, I bought a Kia Seltos 1.5 LX brand new, after 4 months the car broke down and was told to fix while the car was still under warranty. A year later, on the 1st of January 2026, I experienced the same issue, I have to pay R23497.04 for the car to be fixed while still under warranty. No proper investigations on the car, when I call the dealership I get cold response and no resolution.
KiaSouthAfrica #LiquidCapital I'm Matome Cassius Motupa, I bought a Kia Seltos 1.5 MT LX on 31 October 2024 at Kia Weltevreden Park, the car broke down on 11600 KM milleage and it was not in service yet. I Experienced this issue on the 18th of March 2025, then I called LiquidCapital, requesting roadside assistance and the car was taken to Kia Fourways. After the car was inspected or accessed , I was told the clutch and flywheel are damaged due to my driving style, which this reporting does not make sense to me. We have done some research on this issue, this is not my first car, I drove a Kia Rio 1.2 LS that I bought from Kia Weltevreden Park in 2023, I later sold the car to them with no clutch issues after driving it for more than 1 year . I was qouted to pay R16523.20, which I did pay for the car to be fix and this is not sitting well with me, the car was not even 6 months old in my hands. I paid R17299.50 and the car was fixed, then I was given a report on the 1st of January 2026, in less than a year after fixing the reported broken clutch plate and other components, I went back to Kia Fourways were the car was fix and i was told my driving is very poor and there is nothing they can do or help, i can to pay for the car to be fixed. The car is currently with kia Centurion, they qouted me an amount of R23497.04 to fix rhe car. As a client of Kia, driving a car that is still on 29000km milleage, I'm not happy with the recent communication and way of doing things between us. Assessment report. Problem: # Vehicle making noise and not engaging gears. Cause: Technical Assessment - Key Findings 1. Clutch pressure plate shows severe heat spotting, scoring and friction surface degradation 2. Clutch disc shows excessive wear, glazing and possible lining contamination. When I bought the car, was told about car warranty cover of 5 years is not helping. @KiaSouthAfrica please explain to me how your standard 5 year/unlimited kilometers warranty on new vehicle work because dealership technical managers and principal dealership manager at Kia Weltevreden Park, can't help or do anything, what they do is to be rude.
