I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the service I received at Kia Weltevreden Park. This experience has completely changed my perception of this branch, and unfortunately, I will not be returning or recommending it to anyone. I personally visited the dealership on 26 February 2026 to book my vehicle for a service and was advised to bring it in on 2 March 2026 at 7:00 AM. I followed the instruction exactly and dropped the car off at 7:00 AM as agreed. What frustrated me the most was the complete lack of communication throughout the day. Not a single call to provide an update, explain findings, or advise on progress. I had to follow up myself. When I arrived at 15:45, I was informed that the car was still not ready. To make matters worse, while waiting, I overheard staff contacting my bank for authorization and processing the quote at that very moment. It genuinely felt like work on my vehicle only started when I arrived. I fully understand that dealerships are busy. However, being busy is not an excuse for poor communication and disregard for a customer’s time. A simple phone call to manage expectations would have made a significant difference. Instead, I felt inconvenienced, unheard, and undervalued. What added to my frustration was the response from the service advisor, Keisha. Rather than acknowledging the inconvenience or apologising, the explanation given was simply that they had many cars and mine took time. This was not about the service itself — it was about the lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer care. For a dealership service, I expected far better.

I bought a 2016 ford Figo Ambient powershift from Kia Weldevreden park on the 29 November 2026 & approximately three days later I called the salesman(Katlego) to notify him of the vibration in gears one & two that I noticed when the car takes off & he said I should bring in the car so that they can have a look at it. I took the car to them then the following day I was called by Katlego(salesman) who said the car was inspected by him together with the workshop technicians & they said the car is fine so it could be that the gear is powershift so it’s normal however I could still feel the vibration occasionally until on the 12 February 2026 when the car started having a problem when changing gears, I immediately took the car to gearbox & diff centre where the examined the car & told the clutches in the gearbox & also quoted me. So they told me the vibration I noticed earlier was a sign that the clutch was starting to fail therefore the problem was a pre existing one when I bought the car. I’ve emailed their principal(Lylla) & it’s been a week already without any reply or acknowledgment of the receipt of the email & the salesman is no longer interested in talking to me either so I’ll be time to pay them a visit, I’m so disappointed in their non existent service.

Dealership Name: Kia Weltevreden Park Sales Consultant Name: Olwake Mteto Date of Interaction/Purchase: 31st December 2025 and 15th January 2026 Vehicle Purchased: Mazda 2 1.5 Dynamic Feedback In a nutshell Olwake is a man of integrity he is disciplined, diligent, passionate and follows through on his promises. Communication: We found that his communication was always clear and concise. Communicating telephonically, over WhatsApp and email, his response times were always acceptable. He kept us informed throughout the process. Professionalism and Helpfulness: Olwake always demonstrated professionalism and courtesy, in his dress and in all of his dealings with us. Product Knowledge: He displayed sufficient knowledge about the specific vehicle we were interested in, as well as the legal regulations for the roadworthy and registration of the vehicle. Transparency and Honesty: He did disclose any known faults with the vehicle as required by the Consumer Protection Act and undertook to follow up with the vehicle service log book, the final registration documents and the spare key. These were completed, with no outstanding issues. He was honest and trustworthy; there were no price surprises or hidden fees not discussed upfront. The fitment of the reversing camera, two new tyres were carried through Kia. Negotiation and Process: We felt that these were fair and transparent, and he shared with us that we qualified for a “Black Friday” price discount. Recommendation: We would recommend Olwake and the Kia dealership to others, without hesitation. I look forward to following Olwake’s career. Best wishes Olwake, you will go far.

The worst experience ever! I strongly advise against dealing with this branch, based on my recent experience. In 2024, I bought a Kia Seltos 1.5 LX brand new, after 4 months the car broke down and was told to fix while the car was still under warranty. A year later, on the 1st of January 2026, I experienced the same issue, I have to pay R23497.04 for the car to be fixed while still under warranty. No proper investigations on the car, when I call the dealership I get cold response and no resolution.

I just bought a Renault Kiger Intens from Kia Weltevreden and would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the following people Kgomotso This guy is a legend. He went above and beyond to assist me. He walked every step of this journey with me, explaining everything about the vehicle, sending pictures, answering all my questions that I had and keeping me up to date everyday on the progress of sale. If i didn't understand something, he will explain in detail. Kgomotso truelly is an asset to the branch and group. Like they say...."give this man a Bells" as he really deserves it. I can't thank Kgomotso enough for his professionalism, his friendliness and his patience (all the questions I had) during this journey. Thank you again for all your assistance. Sthembiso The other partner of this journey. He was very professional during my application process, explaining everything in detail to me, responding to my emails quick. If i didn't understand something or wording on the documents, he will explain in detail which I really appreciated. Thank you for all your patience and professionalism during this journey Over all I really can't complain about the service I have received form Kia Weltevreden. I was treated with respect and professionalism form the beginning right up to taking delivery of the vehicle. Regards Ashley Theron

I strongly advise against dealing with this branch, based on my recent experience. My trade-in vehicle was listed for sale before the bank had received full settlement. As a result, one final debit order went off from my account, even though the vehicle was no longer in my possession. To date, the vehicle is still registered in my name, and the finance institution has confirmed they have not received the settlement payment. In addition, the new vehicle I purchased failed to start within the first week of ownership. It was collected for inspection, but four days have passed with no feedback or explanation provided. The overall experience has been extremely disappointing. There was no welcome gift or service booklet included with the purchase—basic gestures that are standard at most reputable dealerships. I was told this is due to new management and cost-cutting measures, which only adds to the poor customer experience. Attempts to follow up have been met with unresponsiveness, as staff are frequently “in meetings” and unavailable to provide updates. This situation has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I would caution others to avoid going through the same experience.

I bought my car at the dealership last year. And they told me to bring it for a service once it's 15000km. I took the car for service with 14900 km they said I should pay for a service because I was supposed to bring the car after seven months of which that was not explained. And they requested that I should pay for the service as they will not cover for it.

I need help to be assisted with cancellation of my contract with Kia Weltevreden regarding the purchase of a 2018 Hyundai i20. The transaction was facilitated by salesperson David and finance consultant Sthembiso. Before purchasing the vehicle, I was assured by David—both in conversation and through the pictures he provided—that the car was accident-free. My sister also visited the dealership for a test drive and received the same assurance. Based on this information, I proceeded with financing through Sthembiso, which was approved by Absa. I collected the car on January 8, 2025. However, within a week of driving the car, I noticed that the boot was misaligned and that a rubber component was missing. I immediately raised this concern with David and requested documentation confirming the car’s accident-free status. Instead of providing the necessary proof, David gave me the runaround, forcing me to pay R350 to a third-party service to obtain a vehicle report. To my dismay, the report revealed that the car had been involved in three accidents. Upon presenting this report to David, he requested that I bring the car in for inspection. I took it to Kia Weltevreden Park, where I met with David and Nirvash to highlight the missing parts, the boot misalignment, and an improperly aligned light. Nirvash assured me that the dealership would investigate and provide feedback. The car remained with them for three weeks, and when I followed up, I was asked to visit the dealership. However, the only action taken was repainting the car—no further repairs or proper re-evaluation of the vehicle’s condition were done. Given the car's accident history, I requested a reassessment of its value, as I had been overcharged for a vehicle that had been involved in multiple accidents. Nirvash claimed he would look into the matter, but since then, I have received nothing but delays and unfulfilled promises. Additionally, I have discovered that the dealership misled me regarding the vehicle’s warranty. I was told that the warranty would be extended, but only the service plan was extended—something that was never disclosed to me at the time of purchase. This experience has demonstrated a lack of transparency and accountability from Kia Weltevreden. I was sold a damaged vehicle under false pretenses, and my concerns have not been addressed satisfactorily. As a result, I no longer wish to keep the vehicle and formally requested the cancellation of my contract. But they responded telling me that I must come fetch the car they had it repaired. I do not want their car anymore. They are very rude and inconsiderate.
