Their customers service SUCKS. They do not give a damn. Last year Oct Toughees ran a competition. I was the winner. I could choose any item from the bata website. I was told be patient as it's very busy due to black Friday approaching. I was patient. December arrived and I had to ask where my prize is. Few days later they sent "my prize" instead of getting the right thing I got school shoes and school tekkies. Contacted them and everytime was a different story up to the point when they ignored me. Other people's order was here with my up and until last week Tuesday. Tomorrow it will be another week that went by without my prize. They haven't even sorted my prize and they already busy with another big competition. Shame on you. Lots of customers complain about incorrect orders you send out.
Early November I won a prize from Toughees and could choose any pair of shoes from the Bata website. I made my choice and they told me to just wait as the order will go out close to black Friday and they are very busy. I said all good I understand. When "my prize" finally arrived it wasn't even my stuff. It was the order of someone else. It was school shoes and school tekkies that arrived. I tried to rectify it multiple times as some parent is probably waiting on their delivery for their child and I'm getting absolutely nowhere. Really bad service. My parcel is "somewhere" while someone else's stuff is here and nothing is getting done. It's excuses after excuses. Said someone will contact me from support team and no-one did. We are almost heading into the new year and I've been struggling since November.
Defy is a trusted brand. We absolutely love it. We have a fridge that was passed on from my husband's grandmother,to his mother and then on to us and it is still in excellent working condition after being passed around for 7 almost 8 years ♥️.
