I've got a debit order for my fibre connection. Telkom deducted it twice on two different days end May and again beginning of June. I went it with prove with my bank account that the money was taken. I was told I that will be contacted, as it does not show on my statement and must be investigated. That was almost seven weeks back. When I phone in and tried to follow up, I am send from one phone number to another, unable to find human assistance. This is so frustrating, Seemingly the money they took from me is not to be found. This is so frustrating !!!! I suppose they want me to give up, and take the loss, but that is a lot of money for me and I can't do that. Really don't know the way forward on this one. Really Telkom???
We ordered a mattress in Gauteng to be delivered in Mosselbay on a certain date, and were really impressed with the friendly and professional service on both sides. Thank you Mattress Warehouse.
My late sister hired an oxygen machine from Oxy-med but passed away on 12 July 2021. I cancelled the contract verbally and in writing a day or two after her passing and requested Oxy-med to come and collect the machine on numerous occasions. Proof of this is at hand. Her husband cancelled her subscription on the medical aid but somehow Oxy-med manage to switch the billing for the Oxygen machine to his name (he does not need this machine), without a prescription or authorization. This funds were taken from his savings account at the medical aid. . When he needed medical care this year, he found all his savings were used up. because Oxy-med took money from his savings without authorization. Oxy-med was informed of that, and at long last only collected the machine from him on 2 August 2022. I was informed that he will be refunded, but up to date nothing happened. My numerous emails, whatsups and telephone calls are now ignored, and in the meantime Mr. Swarts must pay all his medical tests out of his pocket, something he as a pensioner cannot afford. I really tried my best on at least a weekly basis to sort out this problem, and have his funds returned to the medical aid, but to no avail. I see now there are also other unhappy customers. Terrible service and so frustrating:(
LOST MONEY USING SIXTH CAR RENTAL /FIRST CAR RENTAL DUE TO MISINFORMATION. We rented a car through economycarrentals.com and picked up the from SIXT car rental in Cape Town airport on 19 November 2021 and returned it again on 22 November 2021 to Sixth in Stellenbosch. We therefor did not use it for the booked period, untill 29 November 2021) Before we returned the car I first send an email to economycarrentals and was informed that they usually do not refund if the car is no longer needed, but that if the South African Sixth company said it is okay, the latter will refund me. I phoned the call centre of Sixth and was informed that we will be refunded if we return the car, and that the nearest car rental (we were staying in Herm****) is in Stellenbosch. We went all the way to Stellenbosch returned it to the Stellenbosch car rental depot , where we were again told that we will be refunded for the time we did not use the car. (6 days.) We are now told (after so many requests) that we will not get our money back, because that is not the policy . How is it possible that we must pay for a car we returned to the depot (after making sure we will be refunded), otherwise we would have just kept the car for the whole period. This car was probably rented out immediately after we returned it. The fact that the call centre in South Africa gave me the incorrect information, is their fault, and I should not pay for their lack of training or whatever lead to the misinformation they gave me. In the light of the above we feel cheated, as it is not our fault if the personnel and call centre of Sixth gave us the incorrect information, but we are ones who lost money.
