I recently visited Burger Rack Rosebank and had a very disappointing experience. Upon arrival, we waited a long time for our table to be cleaned. When we eventually called someone over, the table was not wiped properly. We were given menus, but no one returned to take our order. We waited over 40 minutes just to place an order. When I called a waitress for assistance, she said she was coming but instead assisted customers who arrived after us and never returned to our table. By the time we eventually placed our order, the food took even longer to arrive and was not up to standard. We were no longer even hungry after such a long wait. As a Type 1 diabetic, extended delays in food service can pose serious health risks. If I had taken insulin in preparation for eating and experienced a hypoglycaemic episode while being ignored, the consequences could have been severe. Restaurants need to be mindful that for some customers, delayed service is not just an inconvenience but a medical concern. Overall, this experience was unacceptable, and I expected far better service.
I am beyond frustrated with Fastway. This is not the first time, not the second time — EVERY single delivery I have with them ends in the same nonsense. The driver claims they “can’t reach me,” but I receive ZERO calls, ZERO messages, ZERO communication. Nothing. I gave them an alternative number and still, their consultants can’t even update a simple detail on their system. I’ve wasted so much airtime calling in just to get absolutely no help. The WhatsApp line is pointless. The call centre is useless — every consultant gives a different story and no actual solutions. I was told my parcel would be dropped at reception. I waited. No call. No update. No delivery. Then I ask for a supervisor, get put on hold forever, and the call drops. When I finally speak to a supervisor, I’m told the parcel wasn’t even sent out due to a “delivery issue.”forever, and the call drops. This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and clearly an ongoing problem with their service. Fastway needs to FIX their communication, FIX their delivery process, and stop making customers do the work they get paid for. I’m tired of chasing after them for my own parcels.
