I have stayed at this hotel before and because of the view over the lagoon and taking my daughter to see the Spring flowers nearby I thought we would stay there. An unfortunate turn of events meant I had to phone the hotel in the hopes of rescheduling my stay(I had already paid for the two rooms). They were most unaccommodating and effectively told me "Too Bad". I emailed to express my disappointment and 5 days later still have had no reply. If this is how one operates in the hospitality industry I can't see how they expect to encourage visitors. I'll never go there again if it was free!!
Please don't be duped into thinking this is a local online outlet. After over a month after paying for my order and several emails and now one requesting a refund I am no better off expecting the refund OR the garment. DON'T USE THEM!!!
This is the most pathetic online service I have ever had the misfortune to engage. I purchased wine on the 22 October and paid via instant EFT immediately. On the 28th I contacted Makro customer care and was advised that they were awaiting my payment(no notification at all). As I had paid I immediately emailed the proof of payment. Today is the 31st and two additional emails have gone unanswered and NO WINE DELIVERED!!!
I decided to use this online purchasing because it seemed a more convenient way of ordering the item I needed. Paid on the 9th June and just been advised my order will be dispatched in the week of the 29th June. This is pathetic. Maybe they should chat to the folks at Takealot. I’ll never use them again and spread the word
