I am on a group where people share information and ask for advice. Two days ago I learnt on this group that there are several people battling to end a Telkom Contract. It is easy to sign in at Telkom, but a nightmare to get them out of your life. I had two operators who hanged up on me while I was busy discussing my problem.
I have requested Telkom to cancel my PRIME VIDEO subscriptions as well as any automatic reactivation subscription. I did not apply for above-mentioned, I did not activate it, I am not interested in it, I don't watch it, but Telkom keep on billing me. Amazon Prime Video confirmed that I have no activation with them e.g. no devices connected, but TELKOM keep on billing me. I have asked Telkom several times to cancel it, but they don't. It is really frustrating.
Dear Management of Prime Video, I believe you have an excellent product with reference to your adverti*****ts. Please follow up on reviews of TELKOM Prime Video. At the moment customers are complaining that they must pay for a service that is not provided to them. I will suggest that Prime Video must withdraw from TELKOM. TELKOM gives Prime Video a very bad name !
Telkom's Prime Video service is overwhelmingly negative, focusing on deceptive billing, difficulty unsubscribing, unauthorized additions to accounts, misleading advertising about free periods, and poor customer service when issues arise. As a Telkom client I was charged for Prime Video without signing up or after free trials end unexpectedly, leading to frustration with Telkom's support to resolve these billing errors. I talked to Amazon Support about the Prime Video issue, whereby they confirmed that there are no devices associated or registered with amazon during 2025, although I was billed by Telkom. I cancelled my Fiber line service at Telkom to get rid of Telkom's Prime Video and still I receive invitations for their Prime Video.
