I used Arbor Designs to install a nutec wendy house at my house. The company arrived at my house with inferior flat sheets of nutec that are cut to size instead of buying standard pre-cut Nutec. The nutec looked terrible and cheap as the boards are very badly cut. The product looks like it was put together on the side of the road. Riande offered a full refund. She has since been ignoring all my calls and messages. This company is a fraud and has VERY poor ethics. Use at your own peril. Competitors in the area are much better and don't use inferior materials to save a few rand.
ORDER FROM LEROY MERLIN AT YOUR OWN PERIL!! I placed an order online for a 3 step ladder from Leroy Merlin on the 14 June 2020 (order 000018106-38812). After a 4 week wait and numerous phone calls, I sent an e-mail to Leroy Merlin on the 10 July 2020 requesting follow up on my online order. I subsequently called and requested a cancellation of the order as staff were unable to locate my ladder. The staff indicated that a refund would be processed. 10 days later on the 20 July 2020, I sent an e-mail to follow up on the refund. I received an e-mail that no refund was done and a refund request was submitted. On the 3rd August I again e-mailed asking for an update on the refund. I received an e-mail response that the matter was escalated once again to the refunds department. On the 23rd August I again requested a follow up on the refund and a lady named Koketso said she would personally attend to the refund. Numerous e-mails later and a full 12 weeks later, I have received no ladder and no refund.
I have been a Vodacom customer for over 20 years using the same number. Two years ago I moved the number to a business contract. I have been faced with endless challenges since moving to Vodacom business from the day I signed the contract. After expiry of the contract I requested cancellation as I wanted to move to prepaid. Cancelling was pure torture and I had to call about 3-4 times before getting the correct cancellation address. Two days before cancellation I received a message from Vodacom on a Sunday that my cellphone number would be deleted. No request for DELETION from the network was ever requested!!! I have been operating my entire business on the same cellphone number for the past 12 years and estimate losses in the 100's of thousands of rands due to this theft by Vodacom of my number. After 20 years on the Vodacom network, it is now time to make a change. Vodacom is now clearly using Telkom tactics by making it impossible to cancel and punishing any customer who dares. I sincerely hope Cell C will be better.
I have been a loyal ABSA private banking customer for many years but I have been angered at the inefficiency of ABSA business banking consultants at 2 branches - rude Carmen Cloete at Cresta and incapable Dorothy at Northgate. My journey started last week Wednesday when I went to open a business account at Northgate, I was told that all the business bankers were out for the day. I then proceeded to Cresta to try my luck there. Carmen at Cresta didn't have the time of day to assist me. She asked me to sign all the pages without completing the blank spaces. She said she would do this later. I obviously refused as this should never be done when signing legal documents. When I asked questions she was rude and unwilling to assist. I left and decided to make an appointment with a business consultant at Northgate (Felicity) for Monday. Needless to say Felicity was again not at work on the Monday so Dorothy said she will take my documents, open an account and call me when the documents were ready for signature. 4 days later and numerous calls to Dorothy finally got me through. She said the ABSA system was down since Monday. Hard to believe but doesn't explain why she refuse to return calls
