Aftersales service on parts takes weeks going on month Purchased a brand new jolion pro ultra in jan 2026, got into an unfortunate accident and waiting for weeks for parts to be delivered to the approved gwm panel beater and the expectantcy is normal to wait. Dont normalize incompetence on delivering parts from jhb to Durban, which takes hours rather than weeks now. Thought I upgraded from my previous japanese vehicle to Chinese brand with a higher value vehicle and more to offer as brand new, but pathetic aftersales service from all divisions: gwm parts umhlanga and gwm south africa.
Santam car insurance review: -1.00 star rating. Been without a car for a week now from the incident. Car insurance premiums are debited on time from our account monthly but for a once off claim for an accident it takes more than a week to get approval for a claim with Santam. Leave alone repairs for the car which is still awaiting approval from the quote and also ordering of the spares. Be prepaid to wait for weeks for a claim to be approved with santam. Santam absolutely disappointed with the service and speed on the claim given that I rely on a car daily. I cant even access the car rental which we pay for monthly. I am still awaiting approval on the quote of the claim Procedures and policies in place and followed but never thought of the human element where me as a client who relies on the only car I have. I am absolutely appalled.
