Wanted to go for quick bite to eat. I sat at the table for ten minutes and not a single waiter came to help me, and there were about ten waiters standing less than two meters from me, not busy at all. Don’t think I will be visiting the barn again.
Some time ago my phone got ****** in a busy shopping center. Somehow, the perpetrators managed to access my banking App. Before I could stop it, I lost almost R5000. Neither Nedbank, not Apple could explain how they managed to access the device and my money app. Nedbank refunded me only a fraction of what I lost (even though I believe that their app's security is lacking). About a month later, I got a phone call from "Nedbank" stating that they need to resolve a *****ulent debit order on my account. I even received a legit looking Approve-It notification to accept. Before I new it, they cleaned out my accounts! So, it turns out that they still have access to my on-line banking profile (even although I went to the branch to change all passwords after the first incident). This time round, Nedbank simply tells me it's my fault and refused any refunds for the money I lost. In the mean time, I CLOSED my credit card account because I simply felt that my money is no longer safe with Nedbank. This week I noticed that my credit card balance has gone negative again (and now I even get charged finance charges for this), on a closed account (and the day I closed it, I was re-assured that this account was closed and could not longer transact! So, if you want your money to disappear without a trace, open a Nedbank account.
