Unstable Fiber connection
Recently we moved our internet fiber line from Neotel to Vumatel. It was a mistake. We went from a stable fiber connection to one that is extremely erratic. We have people that work remotely with connection to the central server. The connection drops multiple times during the day. On top of it the speed goes up and down, also not consistent. Fiber is supposed to be stable, but not Vumatel. It is just totally inconsistent & frustrating. This is in Roodepoort.

Clouded process with "hidden" charges
Used Hippo to find a good rental car deal. You actually do not transact with Hippo but a foreign company "rentalcars.com" - they very subtly add absorbent charges for insurance cover. You think you get a good deal but the final invoice comes as a shock. They do not transact openly & clearly during the booking process.

Goods not received
This company sells online. However, what they don't tell you is that they are based somewhere overseas. One only realises it when you receive confirmation of parcel sent. This is false. Further, my order was placed on 16 September 2019. Since 19 September the delivery status states "Item delayed due to unforeseeable circumstances". I get no action from them. They appear to be a useless business or even a scam. Do not buy from them

Beware of the Chinese online shop Newfrog
Chinese online shop. Ordered a few goods from them. When parcel arrived (quick by courier as paid for) some items were missing. When I queried they said it was send in a separate parcel to my "postal" address which happened to be the street address where the courier delivered. We don't get post at that address. Hence 3 months later still nothing received. Now they do not reply to emails neither am I getting a refund. They basically stole my money. newfrog.com

Fantastic service
<p>Last week I Bought a towbar & Tuli roofrack for the wife's car. The towbar was a problem. All the dealers I contacted could not supply one. Eventually contacted Racksolid situated in Ceder square, Fourways. The went out of their way to locate the towbar. And their price was the best. They even arranged for fitment on Friday 16th December and true as promised they arrived on time. The fitment was done immaculately. Lawrence & Noah are on top of their game & provided fantastic service. Well done.</p>

Sold me an accident damaged vehicle & lying about it
<p>I purchased a Chev Utility in October 2015 from them. In April 2016 it was doscovered that this vehicle had major accident repairs prior to me purchasing it. I did ask him (Collin) specifically about any previous accident damage which he said there were none. Some investigative work has revealed that he in fact purchased the vehicle from the insurance company & had it repaired. So he knew! He is dishonest and refuses to negotiate this matter. Be very carefull when you buy a vehicle from them. Ask for the registration papers that indicates the "current" owner - if it states IBE then know that it is a rebuilt vehicle. IBE is his other company that buys written off vehicles & repair them. Also have Dekra do a full inspection.</p>

Got sold a code 3 (rebuilt) vehicle registered as a code 2 (used)
Bought a second hand 2014 Chev Utility in October 2015 from PCO Majestic Auto; Address: 128 Van Riebeeck Ave, Johannesburg, 1610; Phone:011 609 9693. Physical inspection of the vehicle & the registration papers all indicated to a good condition second hand vehicle. Discovered in May 2016 that the vehicle was in fact a rebuilt as it was in a very serious accident before. It should have been registered on eNatis as a code 3. None of this was disclosed to me. Past owner of the vehicle was among others an insurance company.
