I really didn't think I would be reporting a complain again a body that I should report a claim to, but here we are. I reported a matter to the CGSO in February and it was being handed by an individual by the name of Sitsula. I kept asking for updates and had received absolutely no feedback or updates. Eventually today, I received an email and sms stating that they could not get a hold of the company i reported a claim against so they are closing the matter. I very much doubt this story as my claim was against the LAM airlines who is very much still in operation, which leads me to believe that either no or very poor attempts were made to get in contact with them. This is back up by the fact that i received no update or feedback on any attempts, despite my follow ups. What upsets me is not that this was not resolved in my favor, its the fact that it was not resolved at all. If the CGSO could hove shown me that they had tried and involved me in the process i would have been satisfied. Do tell me what is the point of CGSO?
Hey DPD, to hell with customer service right?! As long as you get paid you don't care about the customer, right? You get the address incorrect and when the customer immediately calls to correct this you ask them to keep their phone close as you promise to return the call, but promises are meant to be broken right? Just keep them waiting hours for the phone call, right? And when the customer calls to find out why the delivery didn't take place or the call returned, its unreasonable for the customer to be angry, right? Its unreasonable for you to make an effort to rectify your error, right? Just pretend to try to resolve the issue and make the customer wait 15 minutes while their airtime is running and then cut their call! Don't take any of their returning calls, who cares about the customer waiting 15 minutes for their call to be picked up? If the customer needs their items so desperately they must drive 45 minutes out of their way from Sandton to Silverton to collect their package but don't advise them of this until the 11th hour and they need to get to your collection point before it closes, right? As long as you get paid, who cares right?
