I ordered food from KFC Woodmead through the app, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The chicken I received was clearly off, which immediately made the entire order unsafe to eat. When I reported the issue, they refused to refund the full amount, claiming that only the chicken was affected even though I had also ordered burgers. That response makes no sense. If the chicken was off, why would I trust any of the other food items, especially those prepared in the same environment? As a result, the entire order was unusable. My total order came to R185.00, and instead of properly resolving the issue, they sent me a R47 coupon—which didn’t even work. It showed as “not active.” I reached out again to report this, and I have not received any response since. I also asked about the delivery cost, since I paid to have the food delivered and ended up with a completely wasted order. They then added R50 credit to my account, but the voucher still didn’t work, leaving the issue unresolved. I use Mr Delivery every day and spend thousands through the app, but this level of service is unacceptable. It feels like customer satisfaction comes second to saving money. Based on this experience, I’m seriously considering switching to another service that actually values its customers.
I purchased food from KFC Woodmead through MR D. When I received the chicken it was slimy and had a rotten smell, i then took a picture and sent it to Mr D. I also ordered burger meals which we obviously would eat either because if the chicken was off what guarantee do you have. I spoke to the consultant of Mr D who sent me a R47 voucher and apologized, yet the store has not contacted me and my order was R185.00. I then asked them who would then pay for delivery and they told me they would credit my account with R50 which was done but the supposed voucher could not be used as it was never active. I am do disappointed in the poor service and bad food
