All I can say is sies!! The service is horrible the stuff are horrible people busy shouting at customers because they are slow. The one lady Lerato was busy telling the customer " wait you can see that I'm busy " while we have been waiting for the past 15mins to get our orders... Such horrible service I have experienced. They didn't even allow us to choose our pieces because we both the special streewise feast and imagine instead they only gave us white meat no drumstick no wing no thigh only 1 big breast and those small white pieces . So because we bought it on special it means we didn't pay for it? Please reshuffle your stuff this an upmarket area and deserve proper service with workers that want to work. We didn't even get serviettes just imagine with the amount of oil in the meat? So we had to use our clothes. Honestly disgusted

On the 28th December 2025,cI visited KFC Woodmead around 21:30. I was assisted by the lady, I think her name is Maria. I was told that they don't have chicken reason being they are about to close, they dont cook chicken. I told her if she doesn't assist me I will lay a formal complaint, that's when she took me seriously, and she was willing to assist me. I didn't place an order because of her bad attitude, and laziness. I jus vwonder jow many clients for they turn away because they are in a rush to knock off, I also noticed that the staff at the back they were already cleaning up before time. Please train your staff to treat customers with respect, and not find excuses not to assist because they want to go home. Thank you GKP Sibisi 079 920 2948

The worst store experience ever. The service I received is enough for me to stop buying KFC all in all. The time that I wasted waiting for my order when they know very well they are busy debating amongst themselves. I ordered the Twister Black Friday special x 2 which is buy one get one free so in total I was supposed to get 4 Twisters and 3 Very Berry Krushers. When placing my order I added 2 twisters to my cart as the special says “buy one, get one free” so I bought 2 knowing I’ll get the other 2 free. I waited more than 30 minutes in the store with no resolution. When I asked for my refund, i received a response with an attitude “you’ll get your refund where you ordered - online” in sepedi. Absolutely atrocious service for a store I supported so much!!! Even if there was a system error, it shouldn’t be my problem!!!

If I could give them ZERO stars, I would, I ordered from them on Mr D, I ordered an All Star box, with zinger strips as well, when my order was delivered, I got a street wise 2 and the strips wasn't even zinger. This is pathetic and not the first time we've received bad service from this kfc.

I'm writing this review to express my frustration with this specific franchise (KFC Woodmead). The service I received today at this franchise at approximately 13:00 was very horrible. I had to wait for my order for 30 minutes. People that placed their orders after me received their orders within a short period of time. After receiving my order, I was given hot cold drinks, drinks that were just placed in the fridge 5 minutes before receiving my order. No apology was given by the staff or manager. Instead, I got an excuse from the person who was helping/delaying my order, which is a lady called Amogelang. I am really disappointed in the service.

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received at the KFC Woodmead drive-through at approximately 21:23. Upon placing my order through the automated system, I spoke with a representative named Lerato, who informed me that there was no meat available. I requested to wait for my order, as it was still relatively early before closing time. However, when I proceeded to the payment window, the attendant, who was not wearing a name badge, spoke to me in a rude and unprofessional manner. She advised me that I would need to wait 30 minutes for my order, despite my earlier conversation with Lerato. I was concerned about the cleanliness and hygiene of the establishment, given the attendant's appearance. Furthermore, I noticed that the attendant had intentionally removed the QR code from my initial receipt, which would have allowed me to provide feedback on their service. When I arrived at the collection window, my order was surprisingly ready, contradicting the earlier claim of a 30-minute wait. Unfortunately, my order was incorrect, and the fries were undercooked. I requested a reprint of my receipt, which was met with resistance. After a 20-minute wait, a representative from the administrative office reprinted my receipt on an A4 sheet without the QR code, effectively preventing me from providing feedback. During this time, a representative named Nokwanda spoke to me in a condescending manner, implying that my insistence on a correct receipt was impacting their operations. I felt disrespected, denied service, and treated poorly throughout the entire experience.
