Last night we visited McDonald's Woodmead, the level of service we received there was appalling. First we waiting for a long time in the drive thru waiting for our order. When we got to the window to collect our food, they gave us a wrong order. We ordered a kiddies meal, 6 nuggets and water. We didn't check our order, we just took the order and gave it to the child at the back, if we knew that we were dealing with *********** staff members we were going to check. We only realized that the order was incorrect when we were looking for nuggets, and they didn't give us our drinks as well. When we brought to the attention of the lady that handed us the food, she told us that she's only helping, she doesn't know what we ordered. If that was the case she should have asked for the receipt to double check our order not just to give the wrong order. She was very negligent by doing so, what if our child is sensitive in one of the ingredients in that order eg. chillies or jalapeΓ±o. We asked for the manager, to raise our concerns and we were attended by the lady called Simphiwe. The attitude she gave us,cit was bad. Instead of acknowledging the mistakes that was done by her staff members instead she was defensive. She told told us its not her fault, she works in the kitchen, she doesn't know what's happening in front. Can someone look at this matter and give proper training to the staff in how to deal with customers especially the manager. Thank you GKP Sibisi 079 920 2948
On the 28th December 2025, I went to KFC Greenstone the one opposite Tiger Wheel and Tyre. I was in their drive thru. I waited there for over an hour waiting to place my order. The time was around 22:30. When I eventually got to the window to collect my order, zi asked the lady who was assisting us why is it taking so long, she told me that there's only two of them on duty. She didn't have her name tag on, when I asked her name, she just looked at me, and she never gave her name. I do understand that is holiday season, they want to give their staff time off to spend with their families. On the other hand they are compromising the service and putting us customers at risk for waiting in a queue outside for a long time. Im mentioning that because there was a guy who was loitering around there by the drive thru. It was scary because we didn't know who was this guy and his intentions. When I got my order the meat was cold, I thought maybe the meats was in the stove hence the long wait. I mus say the service there was appalling, and it was not the first time receiving poor service in that particular store, especially in the drive thru. I hope next time when I visit your store, the service will have improved. Im sure it won't be anytime soon. I was traumatized. Kind regards GKP Sibisi 079 920 2948
On the 28th December 2025,cI visited KFC Woodmead around 21:30. I was assisted by the lady, I think her name is Maria. I was told that they don't have chicken reason being they are about to close, they dont cook chicken. I told her if she doesn't assist me I will lay a formal complaint, that's when she took me seriously, and she was willing to assist me. I didn't place an order because of her bad attitude, and laziness. I jus vwonder jow many clients for they turn away because they are in a rush to knock off, I also noticed that the staff at the back they were already cleaning up before time. Please train your staff to treat customers with respect, and not find excuses not to assist because they want to go home. Thank you GKP Sibisi 079 920 2948
I logged a call with Vodacom insurance department about a month ago. I was told that the turn around time is 24 - 72 hours. I was assisted by the lady called Lesedi. She has came back to me with the feedback or just to let me know that she's still busy with my query. I've left a number of messages for her to come back to me, and she never did. I've been a customer for Vodacom for over 15 years, and to receive this kind of service is unacceptable. I'm even thinking of moving to MTN because Vodacom is just treating me like a number. About 3 days ago I took a contract for 24 months that I'm thinking to cancel because of their staff incompetence. The level of service I've received from Lesedi is appalling, Can someone look at my query and revert back to me as soon as possible. Thank you
Appalling service I received from KFC Wilrogate today (2025-03-27). I was at the drive thru at 21:30, I waiting there for over 30 minutes only to be told when I got to the window to order that there's no meat, they only have 4 wings. When I got there I was told by one of the staff members that wanted to be patient the meat was going to take about 8 minutes to be ready and that was all a lie since I wasted my time waiting. If I was told on time that I wasn't going to be served I was going to make other plans an go to other outlets. What made me upset was, when I asked for the manager, I was told that she's in the bathroom. I waiting for her for over 15 min just to tell her how disappointed I was with their service. When I asked the staff members for the name of the manager, most of them said they don't know her name especially the guys. When I insisted to see her I was told that she can't see me because she was counting stock and no longer in the bathroom I was standing by the window all by myself, when I ask for help, they will say from the background " come back tomorrow" I had to go to McDonald's across the road to give then business since KFC didn't want to assist me. If anyone can check the store footage between 21:30 and 22:15, what they were doing between those times. Was there enough meat for customers or they were just waiting to knock off and we caught them off guard, and also check where was the manager on duty.. It's nit the 1st time lodging a complaint about this particular restaurant (KFC Wilrogate):. It looks like they are not taking us seriously as their customers. Please look at my complaint and investigate b4 you loose more customers I'm sure you do have footage that you can look at to show that your staff don't treat their client with respect. The manager Palesa deserve a demotion, she's not leading by an example. How can she tell her team members to lie about her whereabouts, I guess the footage will show exactly,, what she was doing at the back. Based on the poor service I received from Palesa and her team, I ll be going to the new KFC in Witpootjie. I'll never recommend anyone to use that KFC no matter how hungry they are . . Thank you Keamogetse Molefec for the best service experience you gave today (2024-07-24). You proved all the critics wrong when it comes to service especially on social media, the thing of "checkers". You were very welcoming, greeted with me a smile, friendly, polite, even customer's before me the way you were interacting with them, I was very impressed. I even thought they are your regular customers and you proved me wrong when I was in front of you. You treated me the sane like them with respect. you made me feel special (like a billionaire). I wish and hope other cashiers can learn a thing or 2 from you. You really deserve the best. I wish Shoprite can invest in you, and one day run your own store as Manager or even as a service Mager to your cluster. I wish you all the best and keep up the good work. My 12 year old son was so impressed with the service he even said "one day when he has money he will give you" When you impress a child it means you've done something out of this world π. I had a bad experience dealing with one of the employee of Intercape in Durban Station on the 5th January 2024. What a way of starting a new year with an appalling service from Samukelo. He was very rude, arrogant, his behavior overall waxvery bad. Intercape needs to educate their staff members how to deal with their clients in a professional manner. Based on the service level that I received from Samukelo, Intercape has lost a client, myself and my family will never use Intercape services. I will also share my experiences with colleagues and friends. I'll never recommend Intercape to anyone.πππ
On Friday 22nd July 2022, I visited KFC Wilrogate around 19:45 and was assisted by three ladies, mama Winnie, Tumi and Basetsane. The ladies were very helpful, energetic and very friendly. We had loadshedding, the drive thru was super busy but that didn't dampen their spirits or didn't look tired, it showed that they have passion on what they are doing, it clearly showed on the service they gave to us. Thank you very much ladies for finger licken good service. ππππππ. It was so refreshing to be assisted by youπππ Keep Up The Good Work!!!!
SARS Horizon in Roodepoort, I went to SARS to update my details yesterday 2022-07-05. When I got there they refused to assist me because I didn't have an appointment, when I explained to them that on Friday I spoke to someone from their call center who said we are no longer required to make appointments we can just walk in and will be assisted. The lady who was working outside takimg down clients details was very rude, arrogant and she didn't want to listen to me and I asked to see the manager Mr Thokoza Mzantsi. What a useless manager, he was being told by white ladies not to assist me. I've never seen such an incompetent manager in my life. He just left me standing there instead of finding ways to assist me as a manager and not listen to his staff members. He came across as a puppet, very disappointing to see that in this time and age.
