We bought a property from PropInvest on 12 December 2023. We paid a deposit of R30 000 when we sign the sale agreement. On 20 December 2024 PropInvest sent us a new contract to sign. We did not sign the new contract. On 4 March 2025, the conveyancing attorney confirmed in writing that the original contact lapsed due to the fact that PropInvest did not comply to the suspensive conditions of the 12 December 2023 contract. The last few months I requested ProfInvest on several occasions in writing to refund me, but without any success.
We have a residential property with two pre-paid meters installed by The Meter Shack. The property is rented out. In June 2022, we received an electricity bill of approximately R20 000 from Tshwane. We phoned and sent a number of e-mails to The Meter Shack - no response. If you can please stay away from them!
