I Nov 2013 I rented 3 x containers from Contain Self Storage in Vereeniging. In Aug 2015 2 x containers were vacated and only 1 x container was rented for a further period. In Jan 2017 I gave notice to vacate the last container by en Jan 2017. Since Feb 2017 numerous e-mails and What's App messages were send to Ian Lamb, owner, for the deposit that must be paid back to me. I quote the exact paragraph in the lease agreement - 8.6 The deposit will be refunded within seven days after all obligations have been met by the LESSEE and will be electronically transferred to the latest bank account details supplied by the LESSEE. No deposit refund were received within 7 days. Up to date the owner duck and dive me. He doesn't return any calls. The lady working for him informs me that every time I leave a message at the office he says the same, "I will phone her back" which he never do. On my recommendation a Friend also rented fro the same guy. He also didn't receive any refund of his deposit and also having the same trouble. 2018/06/07, 10:28 am - Sanet: Goeie môre Ian. After numerous mails, WhatsApp messages and telephone calls I’m still left in the dark regarding the deposits for the three containers that were rented from you. I am forwarding the last e-mail that I did send to Joan. All the outstanding monthly premiums that were owned by me were paid to Sigred in January 2017. I didn’t come like a thief in the night and emptied the last container and disappeared without paying. If I did you wrong by any way please then allow/give me the opportunity to say sorry. With this writing I would like to follow up on the deposit of 3 x containers which were never paid back to me. After quite a few telephone calls, e-mails and me visiting Ian at the office I had no reply at all. Siegred had different excuses every time I phoned. When I spoke to you in October 2017 you said I must sent you an e-mail, and then you will get back to me. You even promised me that you will give your attention to this matter. According to Ian he is looking for notice letters. I would like to know why didn’t I get any invoices from your office insisting on payment if you didn’t receive any notice at all. Why did you stop charging me then? I started renting from you end November 2013. In December 2013 I visited the containers to look for some documentation I needed, just to find that Ian has moved the one container and there were some of my personal items that hat damaged. I never insisted that Ian should replace any of the broken items. When I fell in arrears with the last container I rented from you I made sure that I pay all the outstanding premiums before vacating. I didn’t pitch like a thief in the night and left without paying. Can this matter please have your urgent attention and give me feedback urgently. Thanking you for your time. In Aug 2016 Vaal Mall Tyres, Ironman 4x4 Vaal in Vanderbijlpark installed a towbar to my New Isuzu KB250. Because of wrong installation by Vaal Mall Tyres Technician the wiring on the towbar caught fire. My Isuzu had to be moved by a lowbed to the Isuzu dealership in Vereeniging. I was informed that because of installation done wrongly my Isuzu could have burned out totally. The total wiring armor were replaced by the dealer at my own cost. I went to Vaal Mall Tyres to bring this problem to the attention of the Manager in Jan 2019. All the relevant pictures were also send to a lady that informed me that she is the Manageress - ********** . Up to date I didn't receive any feedback, not even a phone call. If this is the after sales services you get from Vaal Mall Tyres I would surely not recommend any of my friends of family to do business with Vaal Mall Tyres.
On Monday 21 January I was contacted by DSV for delivery of my FNB Debit Card. Up to date no delivery. When I phone DSV the operator puts me on hold and I have to listen to "how sorry they are to keep you waiting and that they will attend to the call", which I doubt and wonder why even waist somebodies time with a lie in your ears the whole time!?
