Unprofessional and down right dishonest
On collection of vehicle we were asked to pay R14000 deposit, we would never have hired if we knew this. Do not have R14000. Lady said its in the t's and c's. Hidden away so you know nothing when they take your money. We tried every channel to try cancel, phone, live chat whatsapp, email. We managed to get a car from Eurocar for R1000 LESS with only R4000 deposit. Firefly Hertz refusing to refund our R3400 for service they didn't provide. Consultant laughed at us. Please avoid this Company.

BEWARE BEFORE TAKING INSURANCE THROUGH DISCOVERY
Left standing at scene of accident for nearly 4 hours, then when towtrucks arrived they fought, Discovery repeatedly advised that someone on their way. Lied to us for hours. Stranded on cold wet lonely road, very very dangerous. Since then Discovery only sending us approved claims for VISUAL DAMAGE!!! Can you believe this the car isnt able to drive and the tow truck divers dragged car and our car and tow truck almost went down the hill? It has been almost a week since the incident and we are still fighting to deal with someone who is even remotely competent. We have a courtesy car only for a limited time and these people are messing us around with visual damage, surely at some stage one person should have said does the car drive????? Scary and to this we have our life Policy through these incompetent fools. I don't feel insured or protected, I feel let down, frustrated and deeply worried about a policy that we have been paying for 10 years now to protect our children. The situation is hopeless and we have not trust in Discovery, NOTHING AT ALL!!!!
