For the second time in a week, my fiber has gone down. Open ticket COOL-20240806-1868930 - agent tells me there is a procedure to be followed, which really means another 3 day of backwards and forwards finger pointing between Vumatel and Cool Ideas - speak to the call center team leader - don't worry he tell me, I will spend the rest of the afternoon resolving this - Vumatel then respond, 'We are pleased to inform you that ticket 00218817 has been successfully resolved' - well guess what, in your minds its resolved, but in reality, the fiber is still DOWN! Is this just incompetence or does Cool Ideas / Vumatel just not give a damn.
Once again Cool Ideas lets a loyal customer down. Fiber down since 31st July @ 13h18. Ticket logged - 00209505. ISP responds with Vumatel doing maintenance - 48 hours later, no response from Cool Ideas, no follow up with Vumatel. No ETA, just silence.
I have been a customer of Cool Ideas for almost 8 years. Had the minor glitch here and there with the trenched Vumatel line, but normally CISP customer support sorts it out pretty quickly, however this all seems to have changed. Fiber line goes down at 12h53 on 13/5/20024 - call customer support at around 16h00 the same day, Ticket opened - 00077541, Get confirmation from Vumatel, on support ticket. Receive email from CISP at 07h23 - advises that Vumatel have worked on the line and its back up. Check CISP ticket - ticket now marked as resolved. Line still down, call CISP support and total lack of interest in further resolution. Call Vumatel with ticket reference - they state that a technician has yet to be assigned to the fault. Long and the short - Cool Ideas close tickets without first verifying that the fault has been resolved and provide false and misleading information around the resolution of the fault. Really disappointed in Cool Idea's you have fallen into the gutter with the rest of the useless ISP's.
FNB Fiduciary has to be the worst organization to have your will taken car of or to handle the winding up of deceased estates. My late father passed away in 2022 and after an extensive search of a few moths, a FNB will was finally located, naming FNB Fiduciary as the executor. After supplying all the relevant documentation / death certificates to FNB, they tried everything to relinquish their role as the executor, due to the fact that the estate was less than R60,000.00 and their were no fixed assets and a single beneficiary. I declined the role and since February 2023, I have had nothing but trouble in getting any status or answerers out of FNB Fiduciary. A person by the name of Dineo Mamatho was the person in charge of the winding up the estate and it is impossible to get a reply from this individual, it takes multiple attempts through other FNB departments before a reply is send and then its only a vague non committal response. Today I sent emails to both the FNB Estates Manager Kristal Govender and Regional Head Leandri Spies to inform them of my unhappiness and as was to be expected, the email to Kristal Govender bounced back as you need to be on her email acceptance list before you can email her directly. My advice if you are looking for a fiduciary service and not have any issues when a loved one passes, stay well away from FNB.
As this is a business that does not respond, I hope that my experience will help others from making a really unwise choice when using Seeff, in particular Seeff Randburg. We recently sold a sectional title property using Rowena Ridden from Seeff Randburg and I can honestly say that Rowena's behavior towards her clients is below disgusting. She from the very onset of the sale was extremely rude when eventually she found a buyer and we had to sign the OTP. Her excuse was that she had a difficult buyer and this meant that she felt obliged to trample on our rights as sellers ion a number of issues regarding the property. Furthermore, she misrepresented and blatantly lied about clauses she claimed were in the OTP which were omitted and subsequently caused a financial loss to us. When calling Rowena to complain she became aggressive and belligerent and refused to intervene for an error and omission she had made - her response was, yes I lied, but there is nothing I can or will do about it, you must deal with it. On sending my complaint to the sales manager, there was absolutely zero response, I have escalated my complaint to the chairman of Seeff, but I also do not expect a response.
