Banking with FNB gives me the opporunity to rent a vehicle through EBucks, the advantage of doing this, whilst also having FNB short term insurance on my car, gives me a reduced waiver in the event of an accident (R4500 instead of the Avis waiver of R9000). Unfortunately, the worst did happen and I was in an accident. Well good luck trying to get Avis to not bill you R9000 or get FNB to refund the R4500 already charged to your card. Multiple phone calls to FNB and Ebucks, online discussions on FNB secure chat and I am now being ignored, nobody knows anything I am talking about. With both personal and business banking, insurance, retirement savings, two home loans with FNB, I really do not see why I am wasting my money on your services. And don't even bother using FNB FOREX services (FNB supposedly the best FOREX bank in SA according to the advert at CapeTown airport), according to my private banker, the "other" bank is at fault which is quite interesting when my new bank account with another (clearly better) bank is perfectly fine.
I cancelled my Vodacom service after 1 week of terrible internet service. It took weeks for the service to be eventually cancelled. I ultimately had the service active for 1 month so I am happy to pay the 1 months fees, however Vodacom continues to debit my account months later. PLEASE can you STOP debiting my account.
Alright, so following issues with network speeds and problems with Netflix/Showmax I asked Vodacom to cancel the service, this was within 7 days of receiving the device. Numerous calls later, bearing in mind its almost impossible to get through to the right person as the call center staff transfer me from pillar to post (at one point being sent to business fibre) I got through to an agent who was able to assist however eventually transferring me to a supervisor/manager that promised to sort out the cancellation. I am beyond fed up now and need the service cancelled. I will not do this via the call center as it doesn't work. I have the SMS's confirming cancellation was received yet nothing has changed. Making it so much worse is the fact that I have only had 3G for nearly a week. I would like to go back to MTN who provided a stable and reliable service for two years. God knows why I changed to Vodacom.
Not really sure what to say except that the owners or managers of this business should be investigated for fraudulently accepting funds for "shares" without any intention of ever paying the money back in the event you wanted to sell the shares.
