He went out of his way to ensure we were fully informed, comfortable, and supported every step of the way. What truly stood out was how personally invested he became in Milan’s wellbeing. When Milan developed a cough before the original surgery date, Dr. Gautam made the difficult — yet absolutely correct — decision to postpone the procedure, placing Milan’s safety above all else. That level of dedication and integrity is incredibly rare. The way he handled this entire case was extraordinary. His generosity, professionalism, and genuine heart have left a lasting impact on our family. We will forever be grateful to him for changing our little boy’s life — and doing so with such humanity. Dr. Shenaaz Essa brought a calm and reassuring energy to a very stressful day. She took the time to speak to us before the procedure, explain everything in a way that made sense, and most importantly, made sure my son was calm and comfortable. Her kindness, professionalism, and warmth turned something scary into something manageable. We felt safe knowing she was there. You can see that she loves what she does and truly cares about her patients — young and old. She was an essential part of our positive experience, and we are so thankful for her.
I am deeply dissatisfied with Indequity Specialised Insurance Ltd re. the handling of an insurance claim. It has now been six months since the claim was lodged, and unfortunately, our experience has been far from satisfactory. Despite numerous attempts to seek updates, we have encountered a consistent lack of communication from Indequity Specialised Insurance Ltd and their attorneys. This has left us feeling frustrated and uncertain about the status of our claim. The complete disregard for service rendering is truly shocking. All quotes provided by their preferred service providers, on their request, were summarily denied. One service provider even pointed out that the Assessor at Indequity Specialised Insurance Ltd lacked basic knowledge of paint costs. This level of incompetence is unacceptable. In our desperation to resolve the matter and have our vehicle fixed, we reluctantly settled for an amount that falls short of the actual cost to repair our vehicle. Indequity Specialised Insurance Ltd refusal to engage in meaningful communication forced us into this compromised position. After signing a settlement agreement, we were assured that the funds would be disbursed within 30 days. Regrettably, this promise remains unfulfilled, and once again, Indequity Specialised Insurance Ltd has fallen silent. Our entire experience with Indequity Specialised Insurance Ltd has been nothing short of traumatizing. Not only have they failed to provide adequate service, but they have also left us in a worse position than before. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Indequity Specialised Insurance Ltd to anyone. I implore you to reconsider your choice of insurer.
In my life I have never come across an insurance that is so unfair, so unreasonable and so unprofessional. We have been struggling to come to a resolution since November 2023. We have been instructed to only deal with their attorneys, who are just as ***********. Their client drove into our stationary car at a shopping mall. We were not at fault at all. The accident was 100% their client’s fault and negligence. Communication is almost non-existent and now we cannot claim through our insurance as our 60 day period is up. We have sent numerous quotes for them to consider. They then came with a cash offer that is almost half the price of the quotes provided to them. We have been trying our best to get a panel beater to match their offer and they all inform us that there is no way. Their assessor has no idea what they are doing. Even their preferred panelbeater has responded with: Clearly this assessor has no clue as to what paint costs today. Advise them that you disagree with the re-assessment conducted by him, and if they not happy to accept your quote, you can get them to do a re-run on Abuntex.
On 12 June 2018 a request for cancellation of a contract was sent through after the owner of the contract passed away. The cancellation was confirmed by Siyabonga Ngwenya under case number: # ********** 5. However, MTN proceeded to debit two more debit orders. A request to refund the Estate was sent on 11 October 2018. MTN then replied saying they have a claim against the Estate in the amount of R588,22. After advising them that the contract was already cancelled in June they came back saying they will write the balance off. THIS IS ALREADY RIDICULOUS AS THEY OWE THE ESTATE MONEY, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.... 6 November 2018 Nomvula Zwane asked for the Estate Late bank details in order for them to refund the Estate (admitting they owed the Estate) Ref: ********** 6. On 14 November 2018 they confirmed that the refund was processed. Reference number: 1- ********** 2423. Since November 2018 we have followed up on numerous occasions without any reply. We are not getting any refund, any reply - NOTHING!? I cannot phone them to follow up, they are ignoring all emails, social media queries. How am I going to get the refund?
