We were very unhappy with the service we received from Renandi (for electric fencing and roofing). They were contracted to do a roof for us as well as do a built-in braai. The builders showed up 2-3 days late and then owner from Renandi got so upset with the building work that he chased them away. We ended up cleaning most of the building rubble that were left by the builders and we had to phone the owner to come and help us clean up the mess his guys left. He went on Holiday and when they came back now in January to finish, we were told that the mess the builders made as well as the building he (Renier) did, could not be done better and will have to stay this way. We ended up spending almost double the original quote value to correct and fix the building issues and to try and make the building and braai look presentable (this was at our own expense). 12 days later, the guys are still not done, with plastering, grout work and a lot of cleaning not done that we will now have to do. Now the roof and building corrections that were done is still leaking and when we try to contact the owner Renier Maritz, he is too busy or full of excuses to come and fix the leaking roof and we now need to try and fix this ourselves. A 4 day project has turned into a 14 day project at double the cost. Not happy with the service we received at all.

My husband had an accident on 25 November 2016 and the insurance finally approved some of the repairs on 13 December, and the rest only on the 22nd of December and all repair shops closed on the 23rd of December 2016. It took them a month to actually approve the damages that the panel beaters had to corect.

After 70% of the corrections were done, they found additional damage to the car that the assessor missed the first time. This was reported on the 16th of January 2017 and the additional damages were only assesed on the 1rst of February 2017, another 2 weeks of waiting for the assessor. Now it has been 2.5 months since the accident happened, and I am still awaiting feedback as to whether the car is fixable or needs to be written off.

This is really unacceptable to have to find other means of transport to and from work, as they only gave us a rental car for the first 4 weeks after the accident. All the delays have been from the insurer's side and it is making life impossible for me and my husband to get to work and not know when we will finally be able to get our car back

I am very disappointed in the service and the lack of communication with keeping us up to date with the progress of the vehicle. I have had to communicate with the insurer, the panel beater, the assessor and the mechanics and all of them tell me a different story - surely this is not how it is supposed to work?
