What a horrible way to start a day that a bank that I have been loyal for years treats me like a criminal or a thief or a fraudster I dont even know how to express myself after getting a call from Hildah Chipfakacha,Forex Processor,Interbank talking to me like I am dumb and being rude to me telling me that they will return my funds and will not release funds that I withdrew from a forex company which I deposited a hundred dollars and later withdrew it and it was an online banking app which i used to transfer money. now she tells me I needed to liaise with the South African Reserve Bank that I am depositing money to my trading account and she told me that my funds will not be released because i didnt inform the reserve bank that i withdrew money and I have to pay R900 upfront so that she can write to the reserve bank to release my money. i have done trading before using my app and withdrew money and it was transfered to my account. Now if I was in the process of transferring money to my trading account, why didnt the so called upstandard technology of Capitec block or cancel the transfer because I had to consult the reserve bank. why did the transfer go through if I didnt authorise it? why was the transaction successful if I was not allowed to do a transfer to a trading account? why I am I being told now that I had to consult the reserve bank only when the funds are being transferred to my account, why there wasnt a problem when I was tranferring from MY ACCOUNT? This lady is the rudest person ever and talked to me like I was dumb or retarded or something I don't know. she is telling me like i know that i had to consult the reserve bank for my funds to be released. I have never been so disrespected ever like this, I am seriously traumatized by the treatment I got today from this woman. seriously if you think that banking with capitec is for people who didnt go to school and you have a right to disrespect them like this woman did to me then think I again. I have used Capitec bank since 2006 when it started and I was a student at Boston College and now I get this? I am sorry I will take my banking somewhere else where I will be treated like a sane human being. Why create all these banking apps to make our lives easier if its not going to work for us and like now it seems like it was my fault to use the online banking app? If you do not want to release my money as this woman claimed Capitec will not release my funds then its fine keep and hope it adds to your bonus and makes you rich
I booked for serviced aparrments via rooms for africa and paid R7200 on the 13th of August 2015. After a week I received a call about something taking place during the days that I booked for. I had to canel as I booked for next year April 2016. I was promised to be refunded last weekend after I had to ask before I got an e-mail if I didnt send an e-mail to ask then Sakeena would have kept quiet. I waited for the money to be deposited in my account and there was nothing. I then phoned on Monday to speak to Sakeenah and I was put through but he/she didnt want to take my call and I was told that she/he would return my call & never did. I then saw an e-mail asking Marie Ann to refund rooms for africa so that they can refund me. I have used rooms for africa and I was in durban in july & never had a problem but now I dont I am being ignored and being treated like gabbage like I dont matter. I have never been treated like this before. & this Sakeenah wont do any follow ups with Marie Ann unless I send her an e-mail or call her. I am very angry at this point as I am being ignored & I dont get any response regarding my refund. I WANT MY MONEY PLEASE this is the 2nd week & nothing.

But when we get to durban they give us a run around and now we cant use our cards to pay for the car. I am very disappointed because now we are stranded in Durban without a car. I am cross for false promises. Never book a car with budget anymore I am very disappointed with the way we were treated.

I requested a restructure for two months from Absa on my account in March and told Manana that I might want to settle my vehicle amount in May and she said its fine, now I am only calling the vehicle call center for a quotation. They tell me I have to phone legal but my acc its up to date then the guy tells me to phone collections. I phone collections they dont know what to do. The consultants sent me back and forth and spoke to about 5 people not getting any help and no solution because they tell me the system doesnt allow them to do a quotation on my account. I then decided to call Manana because she is the one who dealt with a restructure on my acc, since last week Thursday. I tried calling her this week still there is nothing. She will read out the notes on the system for saying that they have difficulty doing the settlement on my account. I asked her what should I do now and she told me she sent it helpdesk IT since last week Thursday till today no response because she tells me my acc is current and the quotation needs to be done on SAP system and she is still waiting for IT. I want to know as a customer how long should I wait for this settlement to be done and sent to me?
I have noticed that when we have load shedding and there is no electricity the MTN network also goes on load shedding. I dont understand how electricity can affect the network while vodacom works perfectly well. in my househould we have five phones that uses the mtn network but all of them are not working. its funny coz both my phones are LTE but only vodacom works fine but this MTN LTE works if theres electricity. what kind of a network goes off when there is load shedding? please sort it out coz u costing us big tym. if I want to phone someone in an emergency and they are using mtn then I will be stuck because of load shedding. really I dont understand if your network is affected by load shedding. please do something abbout this please its not on. even when I am in Bryanston there is no network when there is load shedding. since last year I noticed this because I wanted to make sure if this is real and it is. no man this is really not on and thats why I am reporting this.
