I had difficulty loading a voucher on the website, and invoked an online chat with a lady called Kelly Hitchcock. Wow, was guided through payment, loading voucher, getting EFT details sent through in literally 30 minutes.<br> <br> Was super super impressed with her willingness to help - and be able to execute many queries that I had in such an efficient, polite and amazing way.<br> <br> To Takealot - keep individuals as pleasant as Kelly Hitchcock in the frontline to assist your customers - its her nature and aptitude to deal with customers so pleasantly that make people like me return again, and again and again.<br> <br> What an asset to your organization - I will because of this DEFINITELY spread the word on social media to encourage friends and family to make use of you.<br> <br> Because she rocks - you rock too!!!<br> <br> Thanks for amazing service - keep up the good work :)<br> <br> Regards<br> Lynette<br> <br> <br> <br> <br>
Had my fortieth birthday here 29/08 for a table of 34.The Function & Events Manager was abrasive, rude, and lack of customer engagement we had to deal with was appalling - was also warned that there will be no speeches or clapping - it was a birthday? Birthday gift also went missing from the restaurant (power bank with lightning charger cable, Miglio jewellery and Swarovski earrings) - which wasn't with my guests/cab service or lodge we resided at - as I checked with all of them. The event's manager never even had the decency of returning my call - which she said she would. The chef did call me with inconclusive evidence. I was at least expecting to hear what will be done from an HR perspective. For a 12% service charge, and not hearing the end result - we will definitely not be recommending this restaurant to family/friends/colleagues/foes for that matter. There is a lack of customer care and want to make your special event 'memorable'. The meal was mediocre and lack of atmosphere and warmth you would expect from a upper class eatery. Will definately vote with my feet and make sure no family/friends/colleagues hear about this.
Tried from 5 January to secure a large family home with Cape Villa Rentals, and up to today have never heard back about winter rates to go to Shelley Point for a break. I would be very concerned as an owner to have my property be listed with her - empty promises, never returning queries is not acceptable. We are now in May and I still have had no feedback from her. As far as I can I will definitely advise holiday goers to stay away - the service is just pathetic. A pity so many holiday homes on rent will never be let out due to the poor customer service!
Tried enquiring 6 May 2014, 17 September 2014, 9 October (under new management), and last response 20th October - and still the returns are as pathetic as it was pre takeover. Rates were promised in October 2014 a I am still waiting and now have 7 months to plan my 40th for 12 guests - disappointed, dismayed and disgusted. At a total loss for words - no concern over retaining clients- shocking!
