In February I bought a Restonic base and mattress extra length set from Sleepmasters Bracken City, and was ably assisted by Grace Goromena who performed miracles to find me alternate feet for the base so as to lower the bed height. I also bought a mattress protector which unfortunately did not quite fit the mattress. At this stage Caroline Shelembe came back from leave and from leave and she then went out of her way to find me an extra length mattress protector. Then a while back I picked up a mattress defect and happened to mention it to Caroline when I was passing the store and within a week a new mattress was delivered, Both ladies take great pride in what they do, and as such the customer service you receive is superb, and for this reason I would quite happily by ice from them in winter.
I have had by Boerbull rescue dog on Hill’s for the past two and a half years and have had an issue. However, with this last bag of Hill’s Large Breed 18Kg, I have to mix the food with other ingredients to convince her to eat it, and she is NOT a fussy eater. Anyway, I logged a query the day before yesterday enquiring as to whether this was a bad batch, or whether they had changed the formula and they have not bothered to respond even though I include all the “numbers” off the bag. Furthermore, when you dial the number listed on their website you are informed that the number is no longer in service. So what gives? I have always viewed the pet food industry with some suspicion as result of the frequent price hikes, but now I am convinced that this is just a money making racket. I will be switching to another brand.
On the 21st June 2024 dotsure issued me with a discount voucher for dog food. However, nowhere did they mention that the voucher was only valid until 30th June 2024, and I only found this out when I went to buy dog food towards the end of last month. So I sent the Client Care Consultant Annemi Du Plessis an email complaining about this, and I am STILL WAITING for a reply or at leas an UP YOURS. I did phone on two occasions, but all the consultants seem to care about is that should I want to cancel my policy,I need to do so telephonically. The poor service is really a disappointment considering that it was spot on when I signed up. And yes I will more than likely cancel my policy once I have found an acceptable alternate agency
I have pet insurance for both my cat and dog, and whereas you never want to be in a situation where you claim due to a pet injury, it is reassuring to know that should you have to, it means that your pet got the best medical attention possible. Unfortunately I have had to to claim for injuries to both my cat and dog this year, but thanks to Dotsure I was able to give them he best treaments possible. AND ON BOTH OCCASIONS, with the minimum of effort, my claim was settled within two days.
I received a R200 Takealot gift voucher from FNB for using my virtual credit card for all my online purchases. However, when I tried to redeem it, the voucher code came up as invalid. I tried to get this resolved using Secure Chat on the FNB App, but after being shunted around for almost an hour I gave up and phoned private Banking. After holding on for nearly 20 minutes I also gave up on this. Now I know most banks suck, but I am surprised that FNB has gone down the slippery slope so quickly. Maybe I need to move to ABSA who are a bit more expensive, but still seem to take customer service seriously
Switched on rewards offers incentives for completing surveys,, and if you are lucky enough to win an incentive, you can take the reward in the form of a voucher. However, don't hold your breath. I app**** for a R250 Takealot voucher on 27th February 2023 and am still waiting. InSites Consulting Participant Support are supposed to sort out any issues but they washed their hands of the matter and referred me back to switchedonrewards@uwiniwin.co.za who have ignored all my correspondence. So my advice, DON'T BOTHER COMPLETING THE SURVEYS AS IT IS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME
We had an unfortunate incident with our cat and raised a claim on the 23rd March. The claim, which was for quite a lot, was settled and the money paid into my account on the 24th March. Now I have been fortunate to travel to the USA on business on quite a few occasions and have not ever got the same level of customer service there as I did from Dotsure, and we all know how BIG the Americans are on customer service. So a big thumbs up to Dotsure, and I am now seriously considering moving all my insurance needs to them.
I never really believed in pet insurance until it cost me an arm and a leg at the vet a couple of months ago. I asked around and Dotsure was almost unanimously recommended by people in the know. In fact, a receptionist at my local vet, (who will remain anonymous), told me that they have never had any issues with submitting claims against the company. And so when we picked up the new member to our family from the SPCA yesterday, we decided to get cover from the get go. I had the pleasure of dealing with a very friendly Jeanrè Joubert who was most helpful. knowledgeable, and professional in helping me to decide on which policy to "invest" in, and in fact I ended up adding our cat to that policy. Although we obviously hope that we never have to submit a claim, at least we now have the peace of mind that should it come to that, we at least have someone else in our corner.
Takealot.com is making habit of sending out false advertising to get you to sign on to their site. Today it was the Ted Lapidus Soul For Him Black Set (100ml)n for R499 (save 74%). But when I went to take the deal it was R795
I have tried to speak to speak to somebody at the call centre, however, each time I am connected to an agent I have been cut off. So let us see if this works. I receive a daily news letter highlighting what is on special. Today (2019/09/07) I came accross Azzaro Wanted 100ml EDT for R699. However, when I wanted to take the deal the price was R1009. So it to me appears that Takealot uses false advertising to get you onto the site.
