I would like to write a review about 1st for Women regarding my call with Mohamed Bosthan. He was amazing, well humoured and made the call worth it. He was extremely helpful and was able to answer all my questions in detail and took the time to listen to any queries I had! Thanks Mohamed, I hate calls, but this was so worth it! Enjoy your day and holidays!
I placed an order on 27 March 2025, I use them because their prices are the best and delivery is usually very fast. It’s been 3 weeks and I had to drag out feedback from them. I spoke to someone from CLC and they told me that my order was already delivered at Specsavers on 17 April. The store said they called me, and it went to voicemail, but no other effort was made to contact me via email, sms, whatsapp. We have so many ways to communicate in 2025 and yet they chose to use only one. This is by far the worst service that I got and it’s unacceptable when customers has to have a prescription to order to lenses in order to see what is in front of them. This is my Karen rant, but do better.
On 19 November we called and queried my 82yr old grandmother’s medical aid. They send us a confirmation letter stating that her medical aid is active. A few days later an email was send saying her medical aid was suspended. Today I phoned to find out what is going on, just to hear that the WHOLE customer service staff is out for a year end function. I tried calling other departments, but they could not help me. There is no skeleton staff, nothing! Now my grandmother is without her medical aid and no one can give me answers. This is highly unprofessional and reckless. Every member on this medical aid is a paying customer and SHOULD NOT have to struggle to get hold of someone to assist them.
