They start with R100 upfront fee then asked for R250 and then R200 and so it gets more and more. Lots of stories about previous reviews on hellopeter. They have 3 companies operating exactly the same. Figure Lending and Mashonisa. ****mers!!!!
Absolute no service at all!! They've got no idea what they are doing. Uncompetent and unprofessional. Took me a week to s****feed them with all fica documents. They keep on using wrong account nr after I closed that account twice. Still using wrong nr. To lazy to check fica documents. I had to run up and down for days to send documents they already have. Never do business with them again!!!!!
End of January 2024 we paid deposit, months rent, retainer fee to move in 1st of Febr 2024. R18 676.00. We signed a year contract. On the 15th of January they said we must pay rent, again. Rent is payable on the 15th of each month. I already paid a full months rent. I paid again full months rent end of Febr and March. End of March they locked me out of office. I must pay R12000 because I am behind. End of contract period we moved out. Our deposit was promised for end of Febr 2025. Still waiting. You can call you can send mail they just couldn't care. I think best thing we can do with them is going to the Ombudsman or to the National Consumer. They are not a honest company at all. Very dodgie.
Terrible transparency. It is just ridiculous to even comprehend. We moved in on the 1st of February 2024. We paid the 1st months rent and the retainer. We asked the agent at the local office, when the next rent will be due. We were advised the they raise an invoice on the 1st day of the month and it is due by the 15th of that month. So the agent explained that the next rent due would be on the 29th of Febr. All seemed great and clear. Fast forward to the 15th of February, we are sent an invoice to pay rent. Weird right?, the agent is now flipping the script and saying we have to pay and that is how the invoicing works. They advised us to rather pay at the end February 2024. Sounds somewhat fair, but wait, they also expect us to pay rent again on the 15th of Februaryl. At the end of March we paid our monthly rent as discussed with the agent. On the 23rd of April they suspend our account without any warnings or conversations. We could not get into our office at all. On the 24th we did pay the amount outstanding on their records and now 6 days later we still can not use any printer or wi-fi that we paid for. We lost 4 days income up to now. If you try too settle this, they are always in a meeting. I promise, that i am not making this up. I don't understand, how they are able to legally get away with this. So please DO NOT rent from them. What the agents tell you, is far from what you experience after signing up! It was just frustrations from the beginning up till now.
