I paid online for an MTN home internet router, including the pro-rata monthly charge. DSV arrived with the correct parcel, had my ID and delivery address, and I was present to receive it. However, because DSV’s biometric machine was not working, the driver refused to hand over the router and said it must be returned to the warehouse, and MTN must now issue a manual delivery request. In other words, I am being delayed because of DSV’s internal technical failure. This is completely unacceptable. There was no valid reason the delivery could not be completed, yet I am now without a service I’ve already paid for. Judging by the many similar complaints online, this appears to be a pattern with DSV. Service like this gives logistics and service delivery in South Africa a bad name. I expect urgent resolution and accountability.
On 25 January 2022 I called in and requested a cancellation of my subscription. and i also did it on the APP, when I called it was confirmed that the disconnection was scheduled for 28 January 2022. Today I received an SMS confirming that I am now liable to pay 2 month's premiums. I called and spoke to Kanye, ref (40128247-i465) and he said it was just the amount i need to pay should I want to reconnect. I told him I don't want to and he said it wont go off, after my experience end of Feb where the debit order did go off and i waited 14 working days to get my money back - I don't trust DSTV. I see my profile shows my subscription is active - what the heck!!!! you better not take off that Debit order from my account this month and remove my profile cmppletely from your systems i will never ever get DSTV again!!!!!!
