The worst Courier service available get sent a sms that they want a copy of proof of address, a copy of ID and then they will take a copy of mtn invoice as per delivery twice ive recieved the msg via sms and email. Firstly friday the 13th of March 2026 that they will be here to pick up above-mentioned documents between 10 and 12 in the morning. Which never happened as i waited and they only got here at 2 hours later. Then told me as my ID and Drivers license is on my keys of my bakkie for Traffic officer reasons again having all necessary documents as requested was told that they cannot deliver due to scanning of my ID and fingerprint scanning. I then told them its fine but i cannot let my 3 businesses wait until they wake up to deliver and loose money as i had what they asked for. So today at 10h41am i get a call from driver as im 3kms away i tell him just hang on im on my way i will be there within 10mins. Recheaching delivery point driver has left he then pitchs up here after 12 again approximately 20mins back after over R100s worth of airtime to his company. I hand him documentation as requested from DSV via sms and email. He then again askes for ID which i did confirm with his dispatch is not needed due to documentation. The driver has the audacity to tell me that i must return my driver and bakkie as he has work to do and will not wait when my bakkie is 80kms away for my ID and now after calling Headoffice again they are changeing their stories again. So firstly if i was any client looking to transport an item or deliver a service i would not use DSV its pathetic that clients who have been Debichecked and CreditChecked via MTN to have to still deal with a pathetic driver who thinks he can tell a other individual or business owner what to do with their time after him and his company have neglected their client such as MTN or the individual or business owner recieveing the goods. Please be aware and do make yourself aware of bad service noted and captured from other clients please feel free to contact me on 0612252233 and i will send you all my proof of a waste of time DSV and their drivers are Thank you very much and i apologise for my extreme frustration Have an amazing day

It has been 8 working days since I ordered my new card from First National Bank, delivered by DSV, and I am still waiting. On Friday the delivery was marked failed with no explanation, notes, or call from the driver. Today I spoke to five agents, all saying the driver would contact me. I clearly explained I leave work at 17:00. I arranged with DSV that my receptionist could receive the parcel with a copy of my ID, but when the driver called at 17:20, he refused to deliver and ended the call. I have spent half the day contacting DSV, being transferred between departments with no proper answers. Resolution requested: Please arrange urgent delivery and proper communication, as this delay is unacceptable.

To whom it may concern. My younger sister was expecting a package from UNISA with her books, but when the delivery arrived, no one was home to receive it. The driver named Khaya offered to keep the package till we were home... when we made arrangements with him via WhatsApp he first agreed but now he is not taking our calls nor responding to our texts. The package has books and it is from UNISA Pretoria Campus Parcel reference: 145484610010126 It is for Zamokuhle Sibiya. My sister is now falling behind with her schoolwork due to her not having her books as we all know that UNISA is distance learning. Can anyone at DSV assist us please

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my MTN order with reference********. I have been waiting for the delivery since 14:00 today, but the driver only gave me a missed call and then cancelled the delivery without attempting to deliver the package. This is extremely inconvenient and I had all the required documents ready for collection, and this unnecessary cancellation caused a lot of inconvenience. I expect this matter to be addressed promptly and my delivery rescheduled without further delays.

After a month and a week the courier eventually found my address only for the biometrics to fail. So no package today then. They have my ID, Acc Statement and Municipal Acc Statement in my name to verify me but they will rather rely on an inaccurate biometric system. pathetic company and they do not care about bad reviews because MTN does not care. Do not use DSV.

After a month and a week the courier eventually found my address only for the biometrics to fail. So no package today then. Extremely bad service from DSV. MTN should get a different courier company. I upgraded at MTN to a new phone. It took 3 weeks before DSV contacted me for delivery, then after explaining in detail they still got the address wrong and now needed to send the parcel to another depot. Today they arrange for delivery and after I again asked what address they have it was the wrong one again. After confirming again exactly the address the informed me the can only deliver next week in my area. This will make it a month that I have to wait for my parcel.

I paid online for an MTN home internet router, including the pro-rata monthly charge. DSV arrived with the correct parcel, had my ID and delivery address, and I was present to receive it. However, because DSV’s biometric machine was not working, the driver refused to hand over the router and said it must be returned to the warehouse, and MTN must now issue a manual delivery request. In other words, I am being delayed because of DSV’s internal technical failure. This is completely unacceptable. There was no valid reason the delivery could not be completed, yet I am now without a service I’ve already paid for. Judging by the many similar complaints online, this appears to be a pattern with DSV. Service like this gives logistics and service delivery in South Africa a bad name. I expect urgent resolution and accountability.

I contacted DSV before delivery to advise that the delivery address linked to my shipment was incorrect and to request that the delivery be placed on hold or corrected. This is a reasonable request and one that any competent courier should at least escalate. Instead, I was met with outright hostility from an agent named Luna or Lulama. She was rude, dismissive, repeatedly interrupted me while I was calmly explaining the situation, and then cut the call while I was still speaking. No attempt was made to assist, escalate, or even properly log the issue. I was effectively told that DSV would proceed to deliver to an address I had explicitly stated was incorrect, and that nothing could be done. This despite the fact that I notified them prior to delivery and made it clear that such a delivery would be unauthorised. What is most concerning is not only the refusal to help, but the complete lack of professionalism displayed. Hanging up on a customer who is trying to prevent a delivery error is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on DSV’s customer service standards. I have now had to escalate the matter in writing simply to protect myself, something that should never be necessary if basic customer service principles were followed. I am posting this review to place the issue on public record and to prompt DSV management to take this matter seriously and address both the delivery issue and the conduct of the agent involved. At this stage, I cannot recommend DSV based on this experience.
