I am specifically reviewing Princess Nyauza - she assisted me in setting up my router to connect to the internet. Up to now, my impression of the service received from Home Connect has not been a good one, Princess was awesome this morning and really calmed me down when I was getting frustrated. Thank you Princess, hopefully my future experiences will be consistent with the service received by you.
Paid R950 for a technician to come out and repair our freezer. Freezer wasn't repaired after we were guaranteed for 6 months and when I tried to call back there was no reply and no feedback received. Had to pay another R500 to get a new fan for the freezer and fix it ourselves. Totally destroyed my faith in human nature.
Awesome service from Brad on a Sunday. Efficient and polite, it was a pleasure dealing with Cool Ideas as always. Have not had a bad experience with them yet. Can totally recommend them to anyone.
I registered with Cool Ideas to get Fibre installed at my home. All very easy initially, they contacts me straight away with reference numbers and they then got in touch with Openserve to come and install the fibre. Great ! That was until Open serve came to install the fibre, I was very clear to the contractor who arrived that I don't own the property so the fitment under no circumstances must cause any damage or be visible. I was assured that it would be totally invisible and no one would know. What rubbish ! They have drilled a hole through a wall and not plastered or tried to neaten the damage, they have drilled a white pipe onto the outside of the wall because they said they couldn't go through the existing fibre pipe. They have smashed bricks and now I can't get hold of anyone, either at Openserve or Cool Ideas who can assist me in either removing the mess totally or getting someone to fix it. My emails to Cool Ideas are being ignored, I have sent them photos and follow up emails and phone calls. When I get through to someone I am told they will call me back with feedback from Openserve but I am still waiting. To say I am furious is an understatement. It is true, you get what you pay for, don't go the cheap route. I should have rather paid the extra per month and gone with a reputable company.
I went into Game Stores in Somerset West Mall today to purchase an electric s****** for my son's 7th birthday which is on Thursday. I was in the Sports section looking for someone to assist me with the 2 different options they had in stock. I do not have a massive budget so wanted to know the difference between the 2 different types of s******s as the price difference is quite large. After about 15 minutes of walking around and seeing no one in sight, I went to Customer Services to ask them to call someone. I waited another 10 minutes and went over to the help desk to ask for the Manager. I was told he was out the store. No one asked me why I wanted to see the Manager but I offered the information anyway. The lady then called out to a guy wandering past and he was apparently the person who was supposed to be in Sports on the other side of the store. When I told him I had been waiting for ages for assistance he told me he had been on tea. I said I hoped it was a good tea because he had just last the store a sale. He looked at me shrugged and walked away. I left the store because I needed to get back to work and called Game Stores customer services and spoke to a "delightful" person called Harry. He was less helpful than the people in store at the Mall. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing anything further from Game Stores and advise you all to avoid the place when there are many other places to go with better service and just as good a selection of stock, if not better.
