I have a parcel that has been lying at DHL warehouse in Germany for more than a month (from 14 November 2020), every day that I phone no one can give me an update and the consultants (Christian at global forwarding/e-commerce) are unwilling to give me an email address to send follow up emails to find this parcel. It is the one excuse after the other and when asked for an email contact the arrogant and rude christian person tells me to go look on their website - there is no email on their website, the more I tell this to the christian guy the more arrogant he gets and refuses to help a paying customer. DO NOT EVER USE DHL FOR ANY SHIPMENTS (INTERNATIONAL or NATIONAL) - DHL will steal your money and your shipment and not deliver the service or parcel paid for
Do not trust Hadeco when ordering flower bulbs as they do not deliver the correct bulbs ordered. First order was dutch iris bulbs - hadeco sent the wrong plants not once but two times! Even though the they know what bulbs to send they still got it wrong the second time. One can oversee a mistake once and give the benefit of the doubt as errors do creep in, however when it happened the second time it clearly shows lack of competence and no pride or customer centricity because a simple order cannot successfully be processed, neither can the correct goods be delivered. The cherry on the cake is that I was so stupid to place more orders with Hadeco and ordered Clivia Gardenii, order was received and I meticulously tagged and labelled each plant with its genus/species and proceeded to plant the bulbs. The "gardenii" plant was pushing out an umbel with a couple of flowers, which I was excited about. However as the flowers are starting to form and opening up it is clearly not Clivia Gardenii bulbs that were sent to me, it is clivia miniata. The flowers do not even remotely resemble any clivia gardenii traits. What I ordered and what is flowering now is 2 totally different clivias, It is tremendously disappointing that yet again (the 3rd time) another order from Hadeco is incorrect. I have also come to learn that several other people are complaining of the exact same problem - receiving incorrect plants from Hadeco, especially amaryllis (only being able to identify and see colours when the blooms starts to open (if it's not the bearded iris plants that incorrect, then it is the clivias and also amaryllis as per other people who's bought amaryllis from you). I'm eagerly awaiting my amaryllis flowers to start opening - however now I actually don't want it anymore as none of the bulbs received from you can actually be trusted as correct bulbs and colors! It is clear that Hadeco cannot be trusted to provide the actual plants being sold. What has happened to Hadeco? You were a company that one could trust (I ordered plants from you as far back as in the 1990's when I was still at school), now all that one is getting is consistently wrong plants, this is never ever acceptable! I'm wasting thousands or rands buying bulbs from you which cannot be trusted to be the correct color or bulbs that was ordered. DO NOT BUY FROM HADECO AS YOU WILL IN ALL LIKELIHOOD RECEIVE THE WRONG COLOR OR TYPE OF BULBS
