Thabani tried to assist me to improve on my current premium and service offering. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and competent and helped me to cancel my policy as you cannot currently meet the improved premium I have been offered by Santam. He assured me that MiWay will always be ready and available to assist if I am not happy with Santam. Thank you Thabani - you made my experience a pleasant one!
I found Dr van der Westhuizen to be very pleasant and professional and he did his best to put me at ease before my surgery during Covid-19 when I wasn't allowed anyone with me before or after the surgery. He and his surgical team and Anaethetist were absolutely superb - I really appreciate everything they did for me. He is not contracted to the medical aids so is a bit more expensive but I would rather make a plan and go see him again than anyone else. The staff in his rooms were also at all times very pleasant and helpful to me and even phoned to follow up with me at home and offer support a few days after my release from the hospital. I highly recommend Dr van Westhuizen and his team.
I have recently had the utmost pleasure of dealing with Brand Innovation for the first time ever - what a treat!! I received such great service and Ruth was wonderfully efficient, friendly & courteous, helpful and accommodating. I was in a hurry for my items which arrived ahead of schedule and found a hand-written card and some gifts in the box to thank me for my custom - which is unheard of in this day and age. Wow Heidi, Ruth and the Brand Innovation team! You have created a magnificent impression and are role models for others in the industry as to how things can and should be done - if they could even marginally attain your heights they will be doing a great job. Thank you so much - you will be hearing from me again!
I know that Takealot is experiencing a whole lot of bad press at the moment due to their recent system crash and incorrectly priced items etc. but I honestly feel that they generally do go the extra mile to assist customers and have taken responsibility and done their very best to make amends (which I certainly did not expect!) for the recent fiasco - which I would never wish on any business. They could not have foreseen or prevented the current situation and must be dealing with a deluge of complaints right now - be patient as they will get back to you! I have been purchasing from them almost since they started and recently experienced the disappointment both of trying to purchase incorrectly priced and unavailable items advertised as available but in each instance I have been treated with courtesy and sincere apologies for them being unable to fulfill my orders. This is extremely disappointing but these things happen in life but it is not the end of the world and I would still say that they have about 95% satisfaction rate in my books. We need to learn to give credit where credit is due and not only focus on complaining when things don't go our way. Thank you Takealot for all that you do right - may you weather the current storm and come out all the better for it!

<p>My overall impression of their call centre staff is that they are always competent, knowledgeable friendly and efficient. Ditshego Molefe assisted and authorised a windscreen replacement claim in 5 minutes and Manda Simms finalised an MVA-related claim for my son in only 2 weeks. She was patient, explained the claim process eloquently, displayed compassion and kept him informed of the process every step of the way. At the time of the accident, the emergency assistance personnel were top-notch. Thank you to both of you ladies for restoring my faith in the insurance industry after a terrible experience with another insurer. If I could give you and MiWay 10 stars I most certainly would!</p>
